So yesterday, I was telling sumergiskank that while cleaning out the guest room I found the sheet of paper with the original "Whore Card" information from RWT. For those curious about such matters, it was a scoring system which divided up the cast into "seme" "uke" and "reversible" and then gave out points based on how easy it was to bed a particular character and how desirable it was to do so. This was come up with very early into the RP as otherwise I think some positions and scores could have been different. I shared with sumeragiskank my faith that it was Niou who must have easily gathered the most points having slept with pretty much everyone in RWT, which lead to sumeragiskank's highly amusing observation:

And so while we're on the subject... for those who don't know I'm hoping to apply for a space in February for Day 1 and Day 2 of SCC. For Day 1 I want to do either Geass or Sengoku Basara. The problem is Day 2. I'd like to be a seller because then I can get in early and have a seat and have an easier time trying to get Reborn doujinshi for sumeragiskank who is willing to help subsidize this little venture. (it also means I will not be as exhausted come Dolpa the next day) However I uhhh don't really follow any Jump series anymore and I'm not really into anything else that day. I love YuGiOh Abridged, however I have no ideas for my own stories and it needs to be something I want to do since a doujinshi is *A LOT* of work (which is too bad since I think there is a Bakura pucchi.) This leads me of course to the old fall back of Tenipuri since well the characters ad costumes are so much easier to draw and I have lots and lots of old fics and such to use as ideas. But of course if I apply for Tenipuri.. I ship YuuYuu and that is what I want to draw so...

Happy Belated Birthday to ladybrick. Sorry, I missed, Passover has a way of taking over all my thoughts and a very Happy Birthday to my Mom today, who refuses to get a LJ account even though I think she would enjoy it. (My father even more so)

For those who don't know yet, I'm returning to Japan in a week and half. Even more exciting is this time the husband will be joining for one of the two weeks I am there. We plan to spend the first few days together in Tokyo before heading out to Kansai to actually sightsee. I still have not decided where we are going to go, since I'm not sure how he'll be walking. Ideally, I would love to go to Okayama, Miyajima, and a bunch of shrines and temples in Kyoto. There is a hike between Fushimi Inari and Tokufukuji I'd love to try, and I'm thinking the Philosopher's Walk might be especially pretty this time of year. I'm not sure if it is worth the long trip to Miyajima, but we do have rail passes. We'll have 3 full days in Kansai and a last morning to get shopping done before needing to catch some sort of transport to Kansai Airport. I had hoped to fly out of Nagoya to save some money on my ticket, but since his ticket I got with miles I had fewer choices. Though it's hard to complain when one of our two tickets was $30 only. lol

I really wanted to go to the New York Meet today, but then I felt a bit meh in the morning and then started to get a case of the nerves about going. I'm sure everyone was nice, I just can be a bit shy and I don't really own any dolls that are famous for their photo-stories or are so rare people have to see them. So in the end I didn't go and I just feel a little bad. I know I can't go to the May meet up as I will be in Japan. Maybe I ought to try to hold something in my house, but what if no one wants to come, then I would just feel awful. *sighs*

I finally started playing with my Louis today. I think with the pretty pouty expression he has, he is going to be my Kamui. I really like his white ton in real life, and of all my BF dolls he is by far my best poser. I also discovered that inside his suitcase is a teddy bear. He reminds me quite strongly of Jerome, just with less of a pout and more of a frown.

For anyone concerned I suffer from narcism, truth be told the only panel I hope to actually attend is the ABJD Tea Party. I don't know the other attendees, and I doubt any know me, but it is fun meeting other doll owners, and I brought Kira out with me just in case of such an event.

I'm actually quite happy RPing AUs barely connected to the actual subject matter just for my and muscatlove's enjoyment, except for the occasional ficlet or fan-art I end up sharing. I actually don't really want any tips, as I am content.

As for PoT itself... it's 10, and I am across the bay, I'm going to stay with my sister tonight, so I can register and hopefully get commissions tomorrow, but rushing out early a second day is less than appealing. I also sort of would prefer to see my sister than go to Yaoicon, which I know is a bit shocking, but means I will only be there so long.

Today was most enjoyable, we went to Golden Gate Park and the weather was lovely. At the moment, we're working on dinner, and waiting to see if Karl, a friend from college is going to stop by. I ought to pack a few minutes so I am set, I keep getting thrown off, since my clock is still set to NY time.

I've re-discovered my love of New Order. I don't know why I started listening to one of their songs, but I had forgotten how much I really adore some of them. I'm actually only so fond of Blue Monday but I adore Round and Round and 1963, though I am a bit put out, as my copy of Regret does not appear to be on my laptop. o_O;

It's nice listening to songs one hasn't listened to in a long time, it's like getting a visit from an old friend.

Kitsune and Inari's heads have come back home. I still don't have matching wigs and eyes for them, but I've attached them to their bodies and given them temporary eyes/wig until I get the correct ones. Expect some doll picture spam at some point. I've also finally started to take pictures of doll items I want to sell. I still have so much, not including 1/6, but this is a good start for BJD items. Hopefully tomorrow I can move onto other items to be sold so that when I come back from Yaoicon I can post them.

Some things I am definitely selling in case anyone is interested, an official Hyoutei jersey, the official Hyoutei school badge, am official Rudys, Yamabuki and Fudomine puzzle, some pretty doujinshi PoT bookmarks, more doujinshi than I can shake a stick at, and I think I will see if someone wants to buy the few Up Tenpo extras I want to part with. I also might sell my doujinshika Yagyuu paperdoll I bought at the 282 event in October 2004. I also found an Yzak poster, and all sorts of other Seed things. o_O BTW in the case of Seed stuff, I am always happy to trade figures I am not as fond of for those I want. (i.e. I would totally trade my Rey figure for Asuran, Lux or Mia)

I need to get out some gifts for people, I hate seeing them sitting here. BTW kosquarepelli you left the konpeito here!

So last night my father and brother went to see the RoTK preview in NYC. The big review I've gotten so far from my father is, "It really broke away from canon." This somewhat concerns me, as I felt the second movies really broke with canon *cough*Faramir*cough* I think I will need more information before I decide to see it. ^^;

I'm feeling anxious. isachi helped me some yesterday, cause she is 100% right, but well I want to know!!!!! Grrrr What I am being anxious about is, did I get the SyuuxYuu fanlisting. Someone got it, and I applied about a month ago, and it is my spellings, but I haven't received an email saying yes or no yet. >.< Blah!

I heard from my friends the doujinshika the other day. It was really nice, they were being bubbly. I want their snail mail addy though. ^^;;; I guess if I haven't heard back from them in a week I will resend, emails do sometimes get lost.... or sometimes accidentally deleted or caught as spam. ^^;

I find the responses to that personality thing interesting. I added yukiru to my friends list cause she/he added me. ^^ I'm so much better about this than my blog cause it's so much easier. ^^;; I guess I am lazy.

It's such a pain. I'm trying to get together a big doujinshi update for Penal-tea and as usual, it taking me forever to do all the scanning. I need to write up a contest page, and I might make another banner though I sort of like the 6 different current ones.

I then get to update my Doujinshi for sale page and respond back to all the people who've sent me emails...wheeeee.

When I'm done, I finally get some time to myself and I can write a little. (Which is what I'd like to do) And perhaps, watch a little anime. I do want to see Whistle and seraphic_jen and becroberts have been trying to sell me on Full Metal Alchemist. (I'm currently downloading some of it...)

Speaking of writing.... I'm sort of looking for a beta reader.
Requirements:
A love of Fujicest (I'm not really going to write anything else, other pairings might appear though.)
Grammatical skills (VERY important)
Time (So that I can get things done in a timely manner)
Some knowledge of canon (I think I know the character pretty well, but I have a tendency to write Fuji as a complete perv... ^^;;)
Patience

At some point, on-line people learn that in fact I am married. The first question people always ask me about is, does my husband know about the yaoi. Well, the answer is, of course. I mean what sort of marriage would I have if my husband had absolutely no idea I spent hours talking to people on-line about pairing off various anime/manga boys. ^o^

I guess what people really want to know is, how much does he know and how does he feel about it all. I should point out now, that both my husband and I went to an EXTREMELY liberal college. His first year, he lived in a triple and one of his suitemates was out and the other later decided he was gay also.

My husband knows *EVERYTHING* When he got me a new hard drive for our computer, (we now have a smaller hard drive which is on top and in charge and a larger hard drive which is underneath) he named them 'Syuusuke' and 'Yuuta.' How he feels about all this is a much more complicated question. He knows I have smutty doujinshi, but I don't think he has ever glanced at them. He knows I am trying to write fan-fic. He knows about Rikki and Wankage as he has met sumeragiskank, kosquarepelli, and isachi. He knows I slash, however while he does now sort of know what will make me slash characters, he generally can't see it himself. Given his druthers, there are certain slash things I like which he prefers as well as certain series. He much prefers Prince of Tennis to X. (He hates X, YnM, anything really dark, angsty and violent.) I'm not sure what he thinks of Seed. He prefers pairings like AsuranxKira, OishiEiji, which have a lot of evidence, are loving, consensual, and the characters are not related. He doesn't like brothers, but knows that I do and in particular love two brothers in Prince of Tennis. He makes jokes and is very nice and humors me about the whole thing. ^^ For proof, please see this picture ^_^ All in all, I think I'm very lucky ^^

But wanted to make a LJ post first.

For those who don't know, more PoT video games, the next two will be "Love of Prince: Sweet and Love of Prince: Bitter" complete with chocolate bars on the mock-up covers. Oh PoT, is your goal to make the youth of Japan gay?

I had a wonderful week end with kosquarepelli in which we giggled muchly and came up with much wrongness. I think my husband was very patient to put up with us, BTW, he says you should come over and visit more often because I cook more and cleaned the house. ^^;;

I ought to be going for a walk but it's cold and drizzly and it gets dark so early now... *whine whine*

I liked the latest Jump installment everyone has been talking about, particularly the Sanada/Ryoma picture on the cover. I finally got my issue of Weekly with the CCD. (My store is 1 week behind on Weekly for some reason.)

I have soooooooo much scanning to do and I want to finish my picture of Magical Girl Uke Yuuta. The more I listen to "Just for Dream" the more I am convinced it is the OP. And the sad thing is, I can just imagine Syuusuke proudly drawing sample pictures of what the opening animation should look like, including lots of shoujo bubbles, pink, and of course a kiss, and poor Yuuta shouting "baka Aniki!" in response. I think sometimes I have an overactive imagination.

Sometimes, I feel very lucky. I mean, I'm sure Yuuta's songs aren't everyone's cup of tea, but to be honest, they are mine. They're the sort of songs I would like even if a character I didn't like sang them. So it only makes them better that a character I *LOVE* does sing them. I admit, I like Tomita-san's voice, he has a nice light tenor. I adore Hoshi, but I think Tomita-san sings better actually ^^; *cough Hearts cough*

I need to see if I have software to rip from DVDs and if I don't, I need to find somewhere to get some software for free to try out....

or at least that is what it *sounds* like Kimeru is saying in the PoT musical, and what the PoT musical most certainly has. Isa, Kate and Jen and I watched my copy last night at Isa`s dorm. It was soooooooo funny and slashy and cheezy and oh my god I kept thinking about the wrong doujinshi I bought and oh god I can`t say. Moriyama Eiji is even cuter than I remembered and he stole the show.

So what do Fuji-san, Isa and a rainbow have in common? I saw them all on Thursday. And yes, I mean Fuji-san the mountain not a relative of either brother. The rainbow I saw over Kyoto. But Fuji-san looked sooooooo cool, and I totally didn`t think I would ever see it, cause it was mid-afternoon and had been sort of smoggy/hazey. But no, the shinkansen is zipping along, and there from a station I look up and Fuji-san! so cool and I even had the Fuji-san window seat.

Friday I went to Himeji and visited the gardens. Yes, something cultural other than shopping. I love those gardens and this time had time to enjoy them in daylight. That evening we watched the musical, what you thought I was only buying it for other people?

OH!!! Ali-chan and Rachkham I got Seigaku jerseys for you!!! Official ones!! Also Xandra I think I now have seen those cards, do you still want them???

Today Isa, Kate, Jen and I went to a shrine flea market and I bought sugar candy. I have not eaten it yet. I also stupidly spent $10 on dried blueberries. I feel like the biggest dumbass on the face of the earth still. Isa and I then went to Osaka and went shopping ^o^ Twas fun.

Tomorrow is Comic City Osaka! Woot!

So for those curious, had a good flight, is Suzumura Kenichi in the dub of the In-Laws? Cause one of the parts sounded a bit like him. I`ve been buying animages I missed. Yeah!!! I found an interview with Namiwa Daisuke in one which I will have to scan for sumeragiskank

So I haven`t found Syuu-yuu yet, but I have very high hopes for tomorrow. I did find something terribly wrong which i wanted a lot, I found WAFFy TakaxRyoma. Yes, Ryoma has now officially been paired with everyone in Seigaku. Tezuka still needs Taka, and unless you count Fuji hitting on oishi in my Oishi uke book, Fuji needs Oishi still. i saw text only AkutsuxFuji o_O Talk about weird pairings. I saw so much InuixTezuka today! I also found an Inui uke doujinshi so I had to buy it. I think Ohtori is the only character I have not seen as an uke yet! ^o^

Let`s see I bought the limited edition hardback Tsubasa 01 used finally. i also bought 02. Yeah to Syaoran and Sakura. I`m still waiting for the second PoT calendar and the Seed calendar.

I`m really feeling quite happy. ^_^

I so hope things go well tomorrow at the Yuuta event.
