and it's starting to snow. >.<

So last night my father and brother went to see the RoTK preview in NYC. The big review I've gotten so far from my father is, "It really broke away from canon." This somewhat concerns me, as I felt the second movies really broke with canon *cough*Faramir*cough* I think I will need more information before I decide to see it. ^^;

I'm feeling anxious. [livejournal.com profile] isachi helped me some yesterday, cause she is 100% right, but well I want to know!!!!! Grrrr What I am being anxious about is, did I get the SyuuxYuu fanlisting. Someone got it, and I applied about a month ago, and it is my spellings, but I haven't received an email saying yes or no yet. >.< Blah!

I heard from my friends the doujinshika the other day. It was really nice, they were being bubbly. I want their snail mail addy though. ^^;;; I guess if I haven't heard back from them in a week I will resend, emails do sometimes get lost.... or sometimes accidentally deleted or caught as spam. ^^;

I find the responses to that personality thing interesting. I added [livejournal.com profile] yukiru to my friends list cause she/he added me. ^^ I'm so much better about this than my blog cause it's so much easier. ^^;; I guess I am lazy.

I want my copy of 20.5 >.

You know, the name of Saeki's song is making a weird PoT/Sunset Boulevard fusion in my head, with the Baron as the old washed-up actress. ^_^

"I am big! It's the tennis courts that got SMALL!"

In all honesty...

When I first saw the name of the song I kept thinking Sunset Boulevard as well. ^o^

So wait if Sakaki is the Gloria Swanson part who is the agent who comes to talk to her? Keigo? *cackles*

Where did you want me to send your Christmas gift to you again?
(Not that I'm going anywhere until the snow stops >.<)

I hear that on the extended DVD edition of TT, Faramir is back in business. *g* As SFX magazine puts it: it's out fault for not being able to sit for more than 3hrs 20mins, and our stupid bladders - "you bounders!" XD
Good luck with the fanlisting, that would be so much fun. ^____^

Yeah I hear he is better on the DVD...

Personally, I am a strong believer that they could have seriously edited the battle sequences to make more room for the characters, but that might just be the LoTR fan in me. (Or maybe the Film minor ^o^)

My brother didn't really like the 3rd movie and I think my Dad mostly did. For me the important question is, "Are Sam and Frodo still as slashy?" ^o^

I so hope so too!!! If not I will probably take Isa's advice and make an unofficial one. Then I'll just call it the Fujicest Fanlisting... ^o^

You need to see PoT at some point, I think it might amuse you.

So far, all the reviews that I have read written by people who have seen RotK say that of the three movies, RotK is the closest to the book. BUT! All of the spoilers that I've read give me the impression that they deviated quite a bit from the book.

I know you like spoilers, so click here (http://www.movie-page.net/martyrotk.html) if you want to see what I mean. ;)

Yes, the Faramir situation was rectified in TTT: EE. In fact, the scenes with Faramir/Boromir/Denethor was by far the best of the extra footage. I wish that they would've kept them in the theatrical cut.

But well, he's still trying to cart them off to Minas Tirith!!!
(And Faramir is my favorite from LoTR ^o^) I don't know, I would have rather seen tehm treat Faramir so long than spend so much time on the battle of Helm's Deep which just got dull for me after a while. In fact in general, I feel like the first two movies could have been better edited. ^^;;

I am actually looking forward to the 3rd Harry Potter, the promo I saw made it look really good.

NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! am reading spoilers!!!!! GAH!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't think I can take watching the 3rd movie now ;;_;;
