muscatlove and yanchamonkey went back to Wakayama-ken today leaving me alone in Tokyo. Knowing my bags are already rather full, I decided a good way to spend my afternoon was doing something I really wanted to do, namely, seeing Harry Potter 4 in Japanese. For those who don't know, I still have not seen it in English, but how many chances will I have to see it in Japanese! (OK assuming it's not the movie on one of my future plane flights like HP:03 ^^; )

Voldemort uses ore-sama, which amuses me to no end. Ron and Harry are rather polite young men and use "boku" and I think Harry's dub voice is finally a guy. I also got a promo for Narnia, where as sumeragiskank had suppositioned at one point, Aslan is pronounced "Asuran" leading to me now imaginingba certain Gundam character starring in "Narnia" as I believe it is called in Japan. And everyone though Kira was the messiah character.

As for the actual HP:04 movie... I knew they had to make changes and such but really, the one that bugged me the most seemed unnecessary. Perhaps I am just not an afficionado but ummm I seem to remember Cedric being umm nicer, like in general, like truly heroic and kind. I also could have sworn Viktor was umm nicer in the book. Oh well.

If anyone is thinking of buying Loveless 06 in Japanese, make sure you get the 800 yen version to get the extra comic.

And happy birthday to Eda, hope you enjoy the concert and glad I'm not going :P

It's soooooo frustrating, my favorite characters keep getting turned into asses into movie versions of books. First Faramir and now this ~.~ At least Faramir didn't die.

When I get back I can scan it, Ritsuka looks incredibly skanky and Soubi is squeezing his ass. lol I think Yuuta needs that outfit.

I am so going to see it when I get back. I couldn't read the Japanese bit, I just recognized it said Narnia and nothing about lions. It's interesting, they use different promos in Japan vs. the US.

Harry had a female voice before? I guess I can understand that, since he'd have been quite young, but it does sound like it's quite fun to watch these. How are the twins in Japanese?

Oh yes, Harry was voiced by a more girly sounding girl in movies 1+2, it's adorable! In movie 3 it's more one of those girls who does cranky pissy guy voices aka Paku Romi or Minagawa Junko, and in the new one it sounds like an uke guy lol

I adore the twins in Japanese, but Snape is blah, not as good as Alan Rickman.
