Sorry I am so behind on LJ, I don't know when I last read it but I think it was around the 19th. ^^;;

Happy Belated Birthday to [livejournal.com profile] becroberts and [livejournal.com profile] thundermew

I'm back home in NY and now just have to deal with jet lag.

On the good news side, I got an upgrade to Business class from KIX to SFO.

On the meh side, some ultra conservative guy was being really obnoxious in the Red Carpet Club and I had to engage him when he went on about employment lawyers.

On the good side, random guy from the Red Carpet Club came up to me and thanked me for debating with obnoxious guy since he was holding the club hostage to his political views by being loud.

Thanks! :D I think I managed to successfully make a short video with my camera just for you! :D

I need to bring in my mac and then re-set things up on my old laptop and then I can start working on images and posting.

Upgrades are just so amazing on long flights and having flown quite a bit some flights they matter on more than others. >>;; The economy/economy plus on a 747 is not as nice as on a 777 and the business class is nicer lol

curse obnoxious people. I'm glad you "told" him off. I would have done the same thing.

&yay! for being back in the USA.

I didn't so much as tell him off as argued against his beliefs. I refuse to be held hostage to some ego maniacal person who seems to think just because he is rich he has the right to decide how the world should be.

Glad to hear you made it home safely (woot business class)!

BTW, I mailed you something via Ye Olde Snail Mail. Did it get to you yet? :P

And yes it did come but I've not had time to open it, sorry. ;;_;;

Cool, no worries, it's just a little bit of nostalgia - nothing urgent. Glad to hear the international mail came through (one always has niggling doubts^^;;;). *g*

I shall be running around trying to get the house reorganized today. Kennis hasn't cleaned out the fridge since I went to Japan and my Mac is going into the shop around 10:30 (Luckily, I have my old laptop to use while it is away.)

I did get you a calendar and some of the cards you wanted. :D I had no luck finding the decoration things though. ^^;

I actually did quite a bit of sightseeing this trip and went to Kairakuen, Ise and Kenrakuen. (As well as finally did the hike between Fushimi Inari and Tofukuji) I also got to try my hand or should I say voice, at all night karaoke. I'm not sure when I will get pictures up because I'm bringing in the laptop. >>;

Welcome home!! I hope you had a nice trip. Unlike usual, there wasn't any recap of your journey XD

I recapped day 1+2. >>;; There will be a longer recap in the future, part of the problem was the trackpad on my laptop was really going and made just trying to use my computer a nightmare. I'm using my super old laptop while my actual computer is in the shop.

So I do plan to make updates and I have lots of pictures to share including the adventures of my dolls, chibi Suzaku, chibi Gino and chibi Lelouch who did a little touring as well. :D

Once I am a little less jet lagged I plan to go back through my flist. ;;_;;

It's all about my adventures going to the school boy cafe and then the GinoSuza only event. To sum up the latter timed events are awful. XD;

I'm still getting reacquainted with my old laptop and trying to play catch up. I accidentally fell asleep around 2:30ish and refused to get up until close to 9 >>;;

Hehehe, Thanks for the welcome home. :D

I can't decide if I should post sans pictures or just import over my image editing software or what, since my actual laptop has now gone in for repairs in hopes it can be fixed soon.

I don't mind my old ibook but it is soooooooo much slower.

Thank you for the birthday wishes and welcome home! *hugs* You always seem to get an upgrade to Business class at some point - I guess it's especially nice to be comfy on the way home. Hope it was a good trip, and I look forward to reading (and seeing) your adventures when you settle down again!

*hugs* Thank you for the welcome home, I admit it is always nice to come home since I'm not overly fond of Japanese beds. >>;; I don't always, I just do now since I moved up a level of status, from Premier to Premier Exec. It also means my luggage gets tagged "Priority" so it comes off the plane faster. Go me! I tend to turn in certificates for flights within the US as well.

Business Class is just lovely on long haul flights. I slept some and the food was actually edible, though I missed the chocolates they tend to hand out as I was asleep. They also tend to try to liquor you up, which is nice as alcohol makes me sleepy after a bit.

I hope to post things once I figure out my computer issues. I need to either move my image editing software onto the temp laptop or just post sans pictures.

Mostly. :D It rained a few days I went sightseeing which was a bit of a downer, the trackpad dying truly sucked, and the $ to yen dipping down so low was a major pall, but overall definitely yes!

I realized every day in Japan except 1 I got to see friends of mine and I still could text everyone so I never really felt alone.
