How do I know, because she got me "Identity" right away even though I know she normally wouldn't be interested in getting Yuuta's new character song. I, of course, absolutely adore it, it's soooooooooooo cute! I am also, of course, now listening to it on repeat... in fact I'm currently only listening to it, "Just For Dream" and "Blood" (re-mix) ^o^

I am in complete love with this trading card. I think it might even be wronger than the Fujicest Christmas Card. ^o^ Most of the White Day cards are really nice as well, particularly Keigo's. I seriously think Saeki needs some fashion help and Mizuki raided the Clamp extra's wardrobe. (If these auctions are over when you want to see the images try using Rinkya.com to view finished auctions.)

For those who haven't seen or don't know....

I about died when I saw Yuzuriha and had to call up [livejournal.com profile] kosquarepelli in the store to let her know! It looks like I will be buying Tsubasa and Jump on Tuesday. ^^

I also got the latest Animedia, Animage and Newtype though I haven't flipped through them yet.

I've been thinking about something I read in [livejournal.com profile] muscatlove's LJ the other day. I use to absolutely adore reading. While I'm certainly not the fastest reader, it's one of those activities that gives me immense pleasure which is sort of funny since I am such an extrovert. When I start reading a book, I often can't put it down until I finish. ^o^ I also use to read a ton of fan-fiction, though I've slowly weaned myself of the habit and not only read the odd fic or so. Anyway, I've decided to start a "Rachel Recommends" part of the LJ where I recommend various published works I've read. (Whenever I remember to post about them.) Some are actually great literature and some are pure junk that I adore anyway, and some are somewhere in the middle.

Rachel Recommends:
"Fires of Eden" by Dan Simmons

Evil demi-gods try to take over an expensive resort in Hawaii. Fun, cheezy and tacky and probably my favorite of all of the Simmons' books I've read. The flow is better than "Children of the Night" and it never seems quite as Stephen King wanna-be as "Summer of Night." (Interestingly enough it has crossover characters from both books.) I particularly like the journal story.

Is that Kusanagi and Inuki with her as well?! Although Kusa looks all weird at that angle.... *dissolves into fangirl goo anyway*

I was hoping you would see that. ^o^

I'm pretty sure it is Yuzu, Kusanagi and Inuki. I was squealing the most over Yuzuriha as she might now be my favorite in X. ^o^ (Other than Akira!) They haven't introduced themselves yet, but it looks like them to me.... and it would make sense.

It's nice to actually have a scoop. ^o^

Hehehehehehehehe

I thought you would be pleased also if you didn't know and I figured I could scan and share. I'm wondering what is going to happen in the most recent installment. I might have to scan and make a zip. ^o^

Blushing Yuuta with his aniki behind him...hmmm... *has wrong thoughts*

Keigo does look very suave, doesn't he? Saeki should be shot for trying to wear that, and as for Mizuki...well, I wasn't expecting him to look *good*, but I didn't think he'd be *that* atrocious!

I've got Yuuta's LoP song, but haven't actually listened to it yet. Heard some of the others first, and am now afraid to listen to any more :-( By and large, the charas are *not* doing well out of these games, with a few major exceptions.

*still hyper*

I think I now have all the LoP songs, but I've only listened to Yuuta's, sort of like how I never listened to most of the KoP songs other than Yuuta's. (Notice a trend...)

I feel very fortunate, as I think Yuuta overall has gotten relatively good songs. Keigo also seems to generally do well.

I had to bid to get that Fujicest trading card....

And I'd take Mizuki's outfit over Saeki's sweater in a heartbeat.

My favorite is still the Blood (re-mix) but I like Identity, it's cute and perky and I like hearing Yuuta seem so much better adjusted.

But I'm bad, in general I like any songs Yuuta does because I adore Yuuta...

And yeah, I was very amused about the Tsubasa ^o^

I read his Ilium a few months ago, and I liked it very much! However, it did take me quite a few chapers to get used to all the sci-fi jargon. Thank goodness the Iliad's cast of characters were around to keep me interested, else I would have given up early in the novel. Now, I'm looking forward to the sequel, Olympos!

I've never actually read his sci-fi, though I own Hyperion, just his horror.

I must have read too much Stephen King as a child... ^o^

How could you forget to mention that Samuel Clemens (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mark_Twain) (aka Mark Twain) is a character in the book? It seems like a fun idea, especially if it works (which, although I've only read a few random pages here and there, seems to be the case).

I did that on purpose as I wanted it to be a surprise... :P

And now I'm going to have to share my "lurker husband" story with everyone since they're unlikely to see the comment. ^o^
