How do I know, because she got me "Identity" right away even though I know she normally wouldn't be interested in getting Yuuta's new character song. I, of course, absolutely adore it, it's soooooooooooo cute! I am also, of course, now listening to it on repeat... in fact I'm currently only listening to it, "Just For Dream" and "Blood" (re-mix) ^o^

I am in complete love with this trading card. I think it might even be wronger than the Fujicest Christmas Card. ^o^ Most of the White Day cards are really nice as well, particularly Keigo's. I seriously think Saeki needs some fashion help and Mizuki raided the Clamp extra's wardrobe. For those who haven't seen or don't know....

I about died when I saw Yuzuriha and had to call up [livejournal.com profile] kosquarepelli in the store to let her know! It looks like I will be buying Tsubasa and Jump on Tuesday. ^^

I also got the latest Animedia, Animage and Newtype though I haven't flipped through them yet.

I've been thinking about something I read in [livejournal.com profile] muscatlove's LJ the other day. I use to absolutely adore reading. While I'm certainly not the fastest reader, it's one of those activities that gives me immense pleasure which is sort of funny since I am such an extrovert. When I start reading a book, I often can't put it down until I finish. ^o^ I also use to read a ton of fan-fiction, though I've slowly weaned myself of the habit and not only read the odd fic or so. Anyway, I've decided to start a "Rachel Recommends" part of the LJ where I recommend various published works I've read. (Whenever I remember to post about them.) Some are actually great literature and some are pure junk that I adore anyway, and some are somewhere in the middle.

Rachel Recommends:
"Fires of Eden" by Dan Simmons

Evil demi-gods try to take over an expensive resort in Hawaii. Fun, cheezy and tacky and probably my favorite of all of the Simmons' books I've read. The flow is better than "Children of the Night" and it never seems quite as Stephen King wanna-be as "Summer of Night." (Interestingly enough it has crossover characters from both books.) I particularly like the journal story.
