Japan Queries

rkoldLast night I received confirmation from We Love dolls, that I am getting my Yo Chinatsu and Kuuta. I'm really quite pleased. Originally, I had planned to use this order as my safety net and then go to the After Event on 9/9 to make an attempt to get the Yos for original Japanese prices about $60 each less (plus I would get them in Sept and there would be no shipping). However, as most people know the After Event is done by lottery, so even if you get there at 7:00 a.m. if you draw a bad number, you are unlikely to get your doll. I also realized with hotel stay and trains, I was spending more like $77+9000 yen to "save" $120 on my Yos. ^^;;
So now the conundrum. Should I still go to the After Event? If I don't, should I visit Sato on 9/15? It would be one less day I spent in Tokyo, (and I would need to change that reservation as well) but if I bought anything I would get double points. I would have to go alone. yanchamonkey has off and drag her to Sato again. We actually had a really good time both times we went together and we could make a day of it and go shopping in Arashiyama again and maybe go to the monkey park. *____* If I ordered any FCS no double points, but I'd have a companion on the train ride and yanchamonkey is a lot of fun.
