unfriending

For those who don't know, lately my DSL has been giving my trouble and before that I was away for a bit. Between the two, I've been re-thinking my flist.

I'm unfriending quite a few of you, if you think you still want to be friended to read my few boring friend locked entries, then either comment to this post or email me to tell me that you're paying attention and why you want to still be friended to me. I am unfriending people in this round who I was at one point close to, but I feel like you have no interest in my life anymore, and that doesn't particularly make me so interested in yours either.

I've unfriended you for one of the following reasons:

We're interested in different fandoms
You never respond to my posts, and don't even respond to my comments in your LJ

There are quite a few people who just barely survived this round, but are possibly getting cut next time I go to Japan and can't check LJ once a day. I generally try to be a nice person, but people who can't ever take the time to respond to anything I say (I'm talking can't even vote in a damn poll about something they're supposedly interested in or any sort of poll at ALL) are not so interesting I want to read about their lives either.

Perhaps this sounds bitchy, but it's hot and its humid, and my mother decided to call me before 9:00 a.m. on my day off, and someone else pissed me off a lot.

You do know every post like that sends me breathlessly running for my info page to find if I made the cut? ;) To my defense no-comment-wise, I do try, but between work and thesis, the last year was hectic.

Well, we don't follow the same fandoms, but I like reading about your love of musicals, even if they're not the same ones as me, and you always respond when I comment in your LJ. I don't know why but it just bugs me when I comment in someone else's LJ and they respond to everyone else and not me.

I don't think I'm particularly interesting, I just only want to be friended to people who take as active and interest in my life as I try to take in theirs.

Which reminds me, I need more Clamp LJ icons! Secretly, I do still love X and all my other Clamp series. lol

I get the same thing about people not responding to comments. Fortunately 99% of my f-list is very polite in that regard ;) And I always like your doll photos very much, even if I don't comment - I envy you for being able to collect them.

As for Clamp... *eyedart* I actually wrote a Tokyo Babylon drabble in the last request round and should write one more before I leave, then post both of them :) Yay for old fandoms!

I think I will always love Clamp.

I had no idea you envied me for the dolls. ^^;; I have grown to really like their versatility and I love trying to get pictures.
