Warning, I am presumably now in Japan, and since my internet usage will be sporadic, I will not necessarily be reading all the LJs on my flist.

Take in the 9:00 flight from LGA was nice, as it meant less rushing around. I had no problem making my connection in Chicago, though no upgrades for me, though I was severely tempted to pay the $500 for Business Class. Ah well. For those curious HP:04 is one of my 6 plane films so I finally heard it in English. lol They also now have some sort of odd satellite type radio, one of which is secretly Z100 and another just plays 80's, when it works. It's odd to be going to Japan again.

My week end was amazingly busy, which was nice. [livejournal.com profile] kosquarepelli arrived Friday late afternoon and then [livejournal.com profile] sumeragiskank arrived Saturday morning and Sunday we got to see Rose, [livejournal.com profile] twotone, and [livejournal.com profile] bittenbefore, and their excessively patient spouses.

I did not get [livejournal.com profile] kosquarepelli drunk like I had secretly hoped, though we ate lots of pizza, watched the "Prince of Tennis" porn, and the A&E Pride and Prejudice. Mr. Bingley is the most adorable man ever. How Jane could ever doubt his feelings is beyond me. Mr. Darcy is sexy, and I have yet to understand why Elizabeth even considers Mr. Wickham. I had hoped to watch Ouran, but that is what lots of shinkansen trips are for. lol

I was so glad to get to see [livejournal.com profile] twotone and [livejournal.com profile] bittenbefore before Ieft for Japan. (I only saw Rose briefly.) We stayed far too late with poor Judy, but we were having so much fun, it was hard to part ways.

(Kurenai, Nagisa playing Natsume, Anne playing Orihime, older Yukihiro, and Uncle Yuushi lol)

Lots of dollie at [livejournal.com profile] bittenbefore

I love her Junko, she's so photogenic!

Tinies tea party ignoring the bigger dolls.

So I read an excerpt from I Sleep At Red Lights: The True Story of Life After Triplets, a horrifying account of a married couple's trip to Italy. I just wanted to smack the wife and I can not understand how this man stays married to her. She is worried about the husband putting on weight, but wants to spend all their time sitting in a car driving around looking at scenery?!?!!? Get the hell out and go for a walk, don't force the poor man to starve! And seriously, it is easy for her to enjoy just looking out the scenery, but her husband is driving, he needs food and well, no matter how beautiful it is, eventually it blends together. So incredibly selfish. ~.~

In happier news, I am reading Traitor's Moon and I have to say, I think I might actually like it better than the first two books! o_O Now, it could just be because Seregril and Alec are FINALLY having sex, but I just find this book flows better, not that I didn't enjoy the others, but there were a few slow spots for me. Have I mentioned I have a huge soft spot for Thero? I hope he gets a happy ending. lol I still stand by [livejournal.com profile] sumeragiskank's assertion that it is the KeiYuu love story, by the way she better read the book soon!!

Damnit, I only semi-watched 24, and so much happened. I just need to share my love of Bill and the fact he is so so so so hot. I love how evil Henderson is, and really is it appropriate to show a promo for United Flight 93, when next episode Kiefer is going to be holding up plane?????

Just got back from the Cherry Blossom festival... the umeboshi onigiri were a huge hit! Thanks again!

My top three favorite spirits, in no particular order, are:
Randy (The Spirit of Wind and Courage, age 16 or something)
Lumiale (The Spirit of Water and Kindness, age 18 or 20)
Clavis (The Spirit of Darkness and Rest, age 20-something).

Clavis is an angst-muffin. I luff him so. But Lumiale is more compatible with my stats, so I tend to make friends with him first.

Angelique's second rival is indeed named Rachel (sadly, I haven't played that game so I haven't met her... only her AU counterpart in the chibi-version game "Sweet Ange") but she's not *really* a rival. IIRC, she's more like a friendly competitor than an all-out snotty rude twit like the original Angelique rival, Rosalia. Grrr, that Rosalia!
