I think I need a light desk...

I spent today trying to draw a picture for a new layout for rachelsaddiction.net. No, not my blog, but the actual domain rachelsaddiction.net. I've sort of let my doll site and the index page of that site rot while my attention turned to anime which is bad. It's particularly bad since I now have a bunch of dolls I'd like to sell and it would be much easier if the pages look a little spiffier. So, I decided I was going to draw the top page. I'm actually surprised at how much I currently like the sketch I drew. Yeah, the proportions aren't perfect and it's no where near as nice as something done by kosquarepelli, Jyuu-chan, seraphic_jen, kurorokoon, becroberts, dilettantka or [Bad username or site: rackham rose @ livejournal.com], but I drew it myself. I was going to try and trace it tonight, but I realized I really do need a light desk. ^^;; I think I'm also going to trace the sketch kosqarepelli sent to me and make a LJ icon out of it. ^_^ (Yes, I of course asked her permission first!)The layout still won't be perfect, but it will be considerably nicer and then I can work on selling things.

I am selling a ton of doujinshi at the moment, and yes, for those curious not all of them are PoT, just the majority. ^o^

I did change the layout for the other blog. I had another idea I'd really like to make a layout of, but I wanted something new and I'm going to Japan in 2 weeks so pragmatism won out. The other idea isn't gone, it's just on the backburner. Working on rachelsaddiction, penal-tea, the shrine, my fic, and selling things has to come first. (And of course going to Japan ^o^ )

I added szabotage and bwinter *waves* I'm just incredibly slow with these sorts of things. ^^;;

So for those curious, I'm leaving for Japan on the 30th so I can try and be there for the Prince of Tennis episode on the 1st ^o^ I know of course this means it's not going to be what I want it to be, or if it is, I won't get to watch it... but I figured why not try.

I want to re-read the Belgariad (as I just re-read Polgara's History) but when I went to find a copy of Pawn of Prophecy, I discovered I didn't actually own a copy of it. >.< Of course this might be good, the last time I re-read those darn books I just sat and read all 10 of them until I finished them and did *NOTHING* else and I really ought to do something useful. (Like work on my trip to Japan!!)

True, and a lot of eBay sellers are in Japan and I'm actually in the US ^o^

Ko actually drew the picture, I just traced it and colored it. (And of course I asked her permission before doing it. ^^)

I added a little "Ko" to the picture but my handwriting is sort of small so it's hard to see. ^^;;
