I need to make an LJ entry, but I feel lazy. Probably the fact I didn't get enough sleep, because I woke up early, for me, to look for [livejournal.com profile] muscatlove to give Yuuta more drama in his life. lol It didn't help that we left him in a particularly angsty moment, which left me feeling angsty, a perfect start to a rather blah day.

Important lesson, the Court tries to make filing electronically as painful as possible.

First a warm LJ welcome to [livejournal.com profile] akari_sama and [livejournal.com profile] bittenbefore *waves*

[livejournal.com profile] thundermew brought to my attention my failure to share my ever so doll focused pictures from Japan. So, without much further ado

EDIT: Damn WP added a space where there wasn't! ~.~

A quick note, this was a very short trip and did not involve much time for non-shopping type sightseeing. Not that I was necessarily going to wander Kyoto exploring, I've umm done that, several times. Doll Show 15 was 3 ENTIRE FLOORS. I only took pictures of floor 5, as I was getting short of time and wanted to see if I could get to the Seed event still. I will take more pictures at Dolpa as I will take pictures on the first run through rather than waiting.

It's the AsuKira love nest!!! BTW if anyone knows where I can get that Asuran with the gun I would be much obliged. lol

The rest of the pictures are doll based. For those who missed it, I spent my first full day in Japan at Tenishi no Sato. Most of Tenshi no Sato is a no picture land, but there is a specific play area set up for doll pictures, and of course there is the garden, the soaking wet during my visit gardens.

Jinny (MSD Sakura cares not, BTW this was my first lip paint attempt, hopefully soon I will be on try 3 lol)

Jinny in the coffin, awaiting that "breath" of life.

Heck no, dressing dolls in matching outfits seems sort of normal, now dressing your children in mathcing outfits....

*coughs a she remembers the one wedding where she, her sister, mother and brother all wore matching outfits*

Great pics!

You showed me a couple but that was in a chat. I didn't see much from the doll show.

Thanks, I've always liked dolls and I think overall, Asian dolls are just fascinating and well made, not to mention horrifically expensive.

I awoke this morning to the new my Yuuta doll arrived at my friend's apartment. Once we have the fate of another figured out, she can ship them to me. Waaaaaaiiii I am very excited. lol

Such cutely domestic AsuKira ^_^ They can settle down, raise a couple of kids...wait, that would be Shinn, wouldn't it?

I know absolutely nothing about dolls, but there are some fabulous outfits there. Poses and settings too. (And that casual boy's boots.) Yuki-kun's so tiny, awww...

Yes, it's sort of hard to appreciate how tiny he is, until you see him in scale with something easily recognizable.

I am such a Starbucks addict!

So does that mean Kira is sitting and rocking in his chair pregnant with Shinn now. lol

And yes, there are some outfits that are amazing, and some I wish I could wear! The other 2 floors had some great things as well.

Thanks for sharing these pics!

*whine* I wish I could go to a doll event in Japan... Is Doll Show kansai only?

Actually, Doll Show is always in Tokyo. There are shows in Kansai I am sure, but I don't know when or where. ^^;;

I had a rail pass and on Sunday went to Tokyo from Wakayama-ken, to go to Doll Show 15 and the Seed event.

Doll Show 16 is during Golden Week. It's held once in the Fall (usually November, but sometimes October) and once right before Golden Week.

Info Page (http://dollshow.hp.infoseek.co.jp/) in Japanese.

As long as it hasn't moved, it's held at the Tokyo Trade Center in Hamamatsucho, which is rather easy to reach.

Oh, oops! Your reference to not wandering Kyoto confused me a bit.
Agggh. I'd love to go to Doll Show, but I suspect the hotels would be packed and expensive during Golden Week. Or would they be less packed, because everyone's going away from the city for their holidays?

*looks at info page*

Oh man, poor missing Mini-May.

*reads more*

Holy cow, their policy regarding overseas dolls is a lot more stringent than it was last time I checked their site. I guess it's nice that they're letting people send in pics and data of the doll to determine whether they're "dubious" by Doll Show standards... but I wonder if Latidoll will be rejected because of that Custom House scandal.

Those were great pictures! (Especiall the SEED one. XD)

... I have a random question, because I think you're the only person I can ask. I think I remember you saying you had the PoT Piano books? I was looking into getting a friend this one (http://store.animebooks.com/proftepisoal.html) and I was wondering if you knew which songs were in it? <3 If not, that's cool, just figured I'd ask you, since you are my main source of PoT knowledge! :D

Yes, I own that piano book actually, I don't own the others. I bought that one because it has Blood in it (and Yuuta on the back too!) It has the following songs in it:

Spirit Way - Keigo
Crafty - Oshitari
Against the Wind - Jiroh
Da Da Da - Gakuto
Brand New Days - ToriShishi
Victory Road - Tachibana
Perfect Game - Kamio
Can See the Light - Shinji
Blood - Yuuta
Honouu no Aoi - Yanagisawa and Kisarazu
Trial of Luck - Sengoku
Taichi's Song - Taichi
Get Free - Akutsu
Honey Bee - Kentarou
Joy to the World - Bane/Dabi
Sunset Way - Saeki

Hope this helps!
