I'm so sorry to hear about Cookie -- she was such a sweet cat, and you were together such a long time. You gave her a much longer, happier life than she would have had otherwise, not to mention feline and human siblings. (Just think -- she might have had to spend her whole life in Texas!) Life won't be the same without her, but try to take solace in the happiness and contentment you were able to give each other. She will be missed.
