What the hell Amazon!

I ordered an item with Prime shipping on the 23rd and now Amazon is saying it is not going to arrive here until the 29?!!?!? WTF Plus the items was $2 cheaper via the seller who is sending it non-2day to me. This is not like a book, this is an item I desperately need and counted on arriving on the 25th. If I'd known it wasn't going to happen I'd have just gone to Target to buy it and skipped Amazon, or tried to put an order together at Diapers.com. This is so unacceptable.

Yes, I know about the Pullips, I've been debating pre-ordering the Sanada, he/she is just so cute and Sanada is my favorite. Though my real dream is Pepper sized Basara dolls. lol

The worse thing is it IS in stock at the 3rd party seller, they just are not shipping it out even close to 2 days. If Amazon had said that a 3rd party seller was sending it or given any hint it was not going to take 2 days I would not have ordered. I am pretty sure I am just going to return it. I'm just particularly peeved because I got an Amazon box yesterday and assumed it was my order and didn't open it until this morning when I needed my items (milk saving bags) and discovered it was my exercise bands I had ordered on the 24th. While the latter is something I wanted I *NEEDED* the bags. It's just also annoying that they're only coming from like 4-5 hours by car from here but they're not coming until Tuesday?!?! Ridiculous! (It's not like they are shipping from CA!)

It's just very frustrating, particularly since I feel like I overpaid as well. I did go to Target today so at least I have the bags I need.

I've not heard anything about Matsushima the tourist area. I asked several of my friends who are fairly fluent and live in Japan but they said nothing has been mentioned. I'm not sure if this is good or bad. :/ I can say that I got an email from my acquaintance who lives south of Sendai though! :D So I figure things must be improving somewhat just by the mere fact she could send an email (I sent my email to her to a gmail addy not a keitai addy) I really am relieved to know she and her family made it through.

Ooops I mean Pepper as in the new PF body type. I love it! I'm a huge tiny fan, and I love the PF head molds, this gives them a more mature body like a tiny version of the TF body. I know the head gear won't work, but I was wondering about the clothes. I need to find my old Liccas so I can compare. (I own Anne my Sugar)

Yeah but without power even WiFi and phones eventually go down. And she lives pretty close to some of the hard hit areas. (like 10km from the shore I think?) I'm just glad she and her family are OK. I was really worried. She was so sweet when we met in person in Feb '10. I really hope I get to introduce her to my daughter at some point. :D
