Oh the weather outside is frightful..

So for those who don't know we were hit pretty hard with the recent snowmaggedon. I'm concerned that we missed our chance to have our driveway plowed and will need to shovel it out ourselves. It is do-able despite the 22+ inches of snow, Hubby is from Colorado and I use to shovel at our old place where we had to do the driveway and the sidewalks. It's just not a happy thought especially with a baby fussing in the house. (since we are blessed to have a baby who sleeps well at night, but does not during the day lol )

In other news, yesterday Adina turned 3 months... I can't believe we've had her for 3 months, in some respects it feels like she has always been a part of our lives and in other respects it still feels hard to believe she is really here. She's also grown and changed so much in 3 months. She's now around 10 bs 9oz, making her still on the small side for a 3 month old. She is so much more alert and can use her body more. She's starting to hold up her head and truly look around. It is still amazing to me that all of us were once just like her.



How to build a snow fort easily... leave a table out in the snow.

That big lump is our car and those small black things are the windshield wipers which we stood up before the snow came to make the car easier to clean.

I'm still working on my WDW trip and we're now being joined by my Mom and Mother in Law (YES! Built in baby sitters!) I'm also trying to work on all my pregnancy weight gain. I gave in and bought an actual scale, now to eat better and exercise more.

I'm glad I could brighten your day! Having Adina around usually brightens mine, particularly when she is smilie. :D I feel bad because sometimes it is hard to catch her smile with the camera.

Yes, I think I look pretty similar to my parents/siblings and my grandmothers. To me, Adina favors my grandfather. lol

It was amusing seeing the car so buried in snow, but it took until today for the complex to dig us out.

Cookie is around the same weight as Adina, 10lbs. I think last appointment she was 10 or 11? She's not a super huge cat, but she's not a tiny one either, if that makes sense.

That picture of Adina with the kitty just kills me. They're both so gorgeous and she takes pictures so well.

I feel your pain on the shovelling. I spent three hours yesterday with amet & her father shoveling out our driveway and the cars. It was rather ridiculous. As it is, I'm peeved out that the school I work at is the only one in the area having school today -- and a half day at that. I'm hoping when we leave in a few, the roads are not as bad as I fear they are. -__-;

Ehehehe, no I have a ton of bad pictures too where she is pulling a Calvin face lol I just take a lot of pictures. It's a lesson I learned from dolls and taking flower pictures in Japan. I adore Cookie, we adopted her in 1994, so she's been just such a part of my life.

We got lucky and early afternoon the complex came and did do our driveway after we partially dug out the car and moved it. It did help a lot even though we had to do some because there is just SO much snow. I think CT was among the hardest hit places.

Awww! I thought it couldn't get much better than the baby-and-doll pictures, but the baby-and-cat picture is the cutest!

I've been trying to get pictures of the two of them together but it's hard because Adina is not so good at sitting up still lol (Which is how that picture happened, Adina fell to her side onto the very patient Cookie.)

I'm so so so excited about WDW, particularly every time I look outside and see our mountains of snow. How much did you guys get?

Cookie and my 13 inch Laptop. So I'm not sure how big that makes Cookie? I think she still might be bigger than Adina though since Adina is on the small side. There are people who give birth to babies that weigh the same as her so...

Now she does lol At first I wasn't as sure she noticed people but now I am 100% sure of it. She seems to particularly respond to me and Kennis since we're her parents.

Adina is a beautiful little girl! I'm not surprised she's photogenic, since you always look cute in pictures yourselves XD I thought maybe it was a learned art, but apparently it's genetic, haha.

Hopefully you won't get 22 inches. A little snow is all right, but 22 inches in a single storm is excessive. It doesn't help we previously had a lot from two other storms. Now the piles near the townhomes are taller than me!

HAHA, neither Adina nor I are as photogenic as you think, I just take a lot of pictures of her and only show the ones that are cute. I also have plenty of pictures where she is making weird faces which I think are cute, but I am her mother lol I am looking forward to tomorrow when she will see my friend Rachel's son who is 2 month older than her and has about 6lbs on her. I think Adina is incredibly pretty, much more so than I expected, but again I am super biased. I still sometimes can't believe she is mine.

I'm so glad it made it to you safely *hugs* I always think of you and if we do all come to Japan please let me know what we can bring for you!

I've been trying to get a good picture of Cookie and Adina for weeks now. I'm hoping to get some more, but it's hard since Adina does not like to sit up lol

The snow is pretty but is just too much. We now got an email warning us about how it could leak into our apartment. UGH!
