Happiness!

Thank you to everyone who posted with thoughts and expressions of concern for my banged up foot! :D

I went to the doctor this afternoon to just to be sure, like so many of you suggested and you'll all be happy to know nothing was broken. It's a light sprain, as I don't have quite the same range of motion between my two feet, but it's mostly... just OK. I can wear a special prescription shoe if I want rather than wearing a normal shoe, but I prefer normal shoes and it doesn't hurt so much to get one on or wear it.

This is a huge relief for me, as I am going to Japan in a few weeks and want to be able to onsen and sightsee. I think this is an important lesson though that I just need to be more careful or like [livejournal.com profile] sumeragiskank says I am going to end up with a sparkly creepy stalker who is going to insist on carrying me everywhere ...and my husband is just not going to have any of that.

Me too! I really want to go to the Lupicia stores now and get us all interesting teas and go to Ikspiari! I was really worried I would be in a cast and unable to onsen.

But I got my X-ray and there was nothing. :)

*hugs*

Probably because I've not strictly decided on dates lol Technically I've not bought airfare yet or booked hotels but February is off season, so I am not so worried.

Prob I will come back around the 1st of March I need a calendar to see which days are week days.

BTW you don't know anyone who can help bid on some tickets on Y!J do you? Otherwise I am going to try SMJ. I'm trying to see Hoshi in the Basara event.

Ahh, okay.

Umm... I do know someone, but I doubt he is willing to help me out with those things anymore so yeah. =.( Sorry.

No prob, I'm happy to bid on Y!J ^^ I just figured I would ask since I know you've been to events.

But yeah I'm going to be back in the US at the start of March. :D Why?

Yeah, sorry.

I was gonna ask if you could pick up a few things for me but [livejournal.com profile] summer_queen will be getting back before you do so I'll ask her. =.3

Yeah, she's leaving earlier than me and staying less time, but we're hoping to meet up in Tokyo. :D

If you still need the things though, please let me know, I'm bringing my giant suitcase so I can buy some pottery for my in-laws.

Yay! I'm relieved it wasn't a break. I hope the pain goes away soon so you're in fighting shape for Japan! *hugs* (Hopefully, now that you've been injured before the trip, you won't sustain any injuries during the trip?)

Thank you for the offer of assistance with Paypal, btw. After getting nowhere with their customer services people (who were unhelpful, inconsistent and completely useless) I got round the problem by logging in from my mobile phone. It only takes me seconds, thankfully, so the data charge on my phone bill is tiny. I feel much better for having done something devious, and am now able to make payments again.

OK, so long as you're set. If you need any help though making payments at all please drop me a line and I am more than happy to spot you in any way I can, that's what friends are for. :D

I know I feel like I am constantly slipping and falling and getting sprains lol But at least it is always sprains and not breaks. :D

I think going to Hakone is going to be so good for foot too! Onsen always make me feel better.

I think I'm okay now, thanks. ^_^ I've sorted myself a ticket for the evening show on the 16th, and while I do want to go to at least one more show (preferably two) my plan is to wait and see what happens with the fan club tickets, since they will have better seats. Show starts at 18:00, so I'm not going to be out ridiculously late and should have no problem with our Hakone trip the next day!

It's good that the injuries aren't serious but it must still be a nuisance! Never mind; we will go relax in all sorts of interesting baths and try not to slip on the way out.

I am going to try to win tickets starting tonight/tomorrow. I've been busy having ankle issues and trying to get the house in order for more showings lol

It is a nuisance, but could be worse. BTW question, would it at all be possible for me to leave a suitcase with you from Wednesday the 17th through Sunday the 21st? I might go to Kyoto post our Hakone trip and don't want to deal with my huge suitcase I am bringing so that I can bring back pottery for my mother-in-law for her birthday. >>;

I'd pick up the suitcase on Sunday to figure out what I am going to do with it depending on what the next leg of my trip entails. :D

*hugs* So how many more relatives have you seen now?

Sure, it's fine to leave the suitcase with me. I'm not switching hotels at all so it can just sit in the corner till you're ready to collect it. You're taking back pottery? Isn't that a bit risky?

I'm up to 5 on my mum's side, 9 on my dad's side. I doubt we'll see anyone else, though, because the next most likely candidates live too far away (or in another country entirely). Unless any more of mum's million-and-one cousins decide to join the party, that'll probably be it. Today we saw no relatives but lots of cute penguins! ^_^

I did it once before from Kanazawa, if you pay enough they tend to really wrap it well, it's more the finding room for it. There are a few places I am thinking of going known for their pottery so I would love to pick up something really nice for my in-laws since my MiL's birthday is in April and she loved the bowl I brought her last time. :)

Penguins!!! Did you get pictures? I've only seen them at zoos and aquariums and it's just not the same thing.

And thanks so much! I am still not sure where I am going to stay in Tokyo, but I am thinking it might be best to go to Kansai then and get that part of the trip done with.

I did get pictures, yes! They were so cute, waddling around on the beach! I'll be doing another LJ post with photos some time in the next few days, so I'll put some pics up then. I have penguins making kissy faces at each other. ^_^

PENGUINS!!! You's so lucky. Not that they're not cute, but the only animals I've seen recently are my cats lol

Hmmmm

I've gotten a few notices but I've no idea what they say.... I guess it is time for me to forward them to someone who knows Japanese.

I know I called the credit card company and they said they approved it.
