For those who don't know, this past trip to Japan I bought something I'd had my eye on for more than a year, a can badge maker so that I could make cute fan-made can badges like the Japanese do. I had looked in a few crafts stores near where I live to no avail. So, this past trip I finally gave in and bought one. I also bought a set of refills and a paper cutter to make perfect sized can badges. I forced [livejournal.com profile] kosquarepelli to draw me a few cute pictures and have seen been editing them, tracing them, coloring them, and trying to make badges. Mostly, it's been a success but occasionally, I am not so fortunate.

I had edited and then traced this picture and then colored it with my copics only to have my can badge maker destroy it when trying to turn it into a badge. ;;_;; WAAAAAAH! At least I scanned the picture first, but now I need to trace it and color it AGAIN. On the bright side.. the scan migh make a cute LJ icon XD

I've decided that once I have more money I am going to buy my LJ, so if you owe me money, *looks around at people* I'd appreciate it if you could look into paying me. I am going to be good and not rant, seriously I am.

In other news, I actually finally edited a bunch of my Japan pictures so I might soon share them. I also edited images for a ton of doujinshi I want to sell. Wheeeeee(And [livejournal.com profile] sumeragiskank made me a adorable for sale page.)

I got mine in Toys R Us in Odaiba. They also make a slightly larger "deluxe" version that makes 3 cm and 4 cm badges. Mine only makes 3cm but since the paper cutter only cuts 3 cm circles, I'm find with that. They sell them in Animate as well, but the prices are lower in TRU.

They sell not as cute ones in the US. (Plus they don't come with Engrish badges such as the one I made for [livejournal.com profile] sumeragiskank "I play with me" and my other favorite "Don't forget brushing tooth"

:D :D That's wonderful, I didn't expect you to give me so much info, thanks a lot! I'll keep all that in mind, if I ever go to Odaiba. Will look it up in Animate as well. ^_^

I like trying to be as helpful a possible ^o^

Assuming you're in Japan, there is also a Toys R Us in the basement of Sunshine 60 where they sell them. I just happened to be at Odaiba for a Fuji Kyoudai+Saeki event, and when I got to TRU I just gave in and bought one. There might be other Toys R Us' in the Tokyo area but those are the only two I know of. If you're in a different part of Japan... I *KNOW* there is a Toys R Us in Hiroshima (you need a car to get there) and Kobe cause I've been to them. ^o^ From what I'm given to understand there are a lot of Toys R Us' in Japan.

I know I saw them in the Ikebukuro Animate (on either the character goods floor or the one with the copics) I don't know if they have the actual machines at the others.
