I finally managed to make it through my backlog of entries and of course this is where I share that I am going back to Japan in March lol I'm pleased and excited to announce that I've gotten a space at Haru Comic City and with ee970's help I've applied to be a part of the Suzaku uke puchi being hosted by Double Slash. I can only hope that the application went through correctly and that I am now a part of it. I'll have to check every so often to see if the list is updated and I am added lol I totally need to revamp my website and part of the problem is I really need to get better at drawing and coloring on the computer and I still sort of prefer doing things by hand. Ah well. This also means I need to work on the copyhons I am hoping to do for this event, I don't want to be doing everything at the last minute again and I want to try doing more postcards. It's really exciting the prospect of being part of something with all the circles whose books I've been collecting for the last 3 years. I also sent one circle a gift picture and that was very nerve wracking. I'm hoping to get some sort of acknowledgment, it just makes me so anxious lol It's funny, I don't feel nervous asking for a sketch but actually sharing something I drew is completely different. I really hope she likes the picture. I still have a lot of room for improvement but I'd like to think I am getting better at drawing Gino and Suzaku. I want to make myself a LJ icon of them based off my own art...

And going onto that.. since most circles really hate people using their art I plan to get rid of any fan-art LJ icons I have that I do not own the rights to and to (i.e. the pictures Ko drew specifically for me to use are not the same thing at all!) slowly get rid of any of my official art LJ icons as well.

It is really exciting and nerve wracking lol I'm so hoping to hear or see my name added to the circle list for the event. I sent in my application on time but have not heard from them yet or seen myself added but no updates since the 31st. It's a bit scary and it makes me anxious, but yes Double Slash and so many other circles I love and whose books I've been buying for what I think is years.

Thanks! :D I need to spend some of today working on my new layout and mapping out possible copyhons. I have two ideas as well as some postcard ideas and a few other things. Plus I semi need to figure out where I am going and what I am doing so I can book hotels. lol

It is, it turns out trying to do a doujinshi and just trying to get a table at an event is a lot more anxiety inducing and a lot more work than one would think. I'm glad I found some new fonts so my text at least can look different now.

I'm very excited and very nervous! Double Slash is promising to put out the second part to Prisoner of Love and EikiEiki and a few Seed/Destiny circles are putting together a GinoSuza R-18 antho! ♥ I have two ideas for copyhons, one is more serious and one is more silly. If I can get myself together I will share excerpts. I need to plot out a good flow and I plan to cheat and this time borrow my Dad's office photo copier >>;

"Human Accident" It's a euphemism for when someone jumps in front of a train/subway and there is a delay from it. It seemed scarily popular last trip as the day I got that picture there were 2 and the next day there was 4. I think there was at least 1 every day I was in Tokyo.

Yes, I figured it was easier to just send it lol I'm hoping to make 2 new designs or so for the next event or if I can be really together more than 2, it depends on when the deadline is since I want to color them on the computer next time, the copics don't transfer quite as well.

I think the cards worked out quite cute still. The next theme is going to blossom viewing, to try to stay seasonally relevant.
