I'm slowly getting back into going to the gym which is a good thing.
Since I was scanning some examples for someone else, I thought I would share some examples of doujinshi merchandise.
For those who don't know a lot of the bigger circles will make free items (usually post cards, bags, pads of paper, or clearfiles) if one buy's a circle's most recent doujinshi. There are also sometimes little laminated cards and other miscellaneous merchandise for sale by circles. I rather like these items because they're generally rather unique.
Please do not use any of the pictures taken of my merchandise without permission to make icons, etc.

This was a free Code Geass bag made by Kashi. If you look carefully you can see some measuring tape to try to give scale. I love the picture

This is one of the sides of their bag from SuperComicCity 2008

And the other side, sometimes a Kashi bag has two illustrations on either side and sometimes only one.

This was a free bad from R1 put out by HP.01. I like some of their Geass books. They use to do FragaKira in Seed but I was never really into that pairing. >>;

This free bag was given out by Double Slash if you bought their newest books at the Area 37 event. The chibis are so cute!!!

This was a Clearfile put out by Pandora's Box. It was free. :3

And a Shinn/Kira one from Destiny.

I forgot which circle made this for purchase, but it's a Lelouch, Suzaku and CC glass from R1. I also bought the Destiny Asuran, Kira and Lacus glass. It seemed quite unique

Even more unique and won off Y!J is this bowl set put out by Like Hell. For those curious Jeremiah got the chopsticks and CC is the character the flash is hiding.

From Comiket 2005, Kashi put out this Gundam Seed Destiny Calendar. This is the back side, showing promo pictures of the inside.

August Comiket 2008 pin and postcard from Pandora's Box, a pad and postcard set from Pandora's Box, I can't remember well. A pretty Suzaku Kashi card form March 07, I missed the Lelouch one from an earlier event but since I like Suzaku I was OK with it. It's Lelouch's hand offering the apple BTW. And a deck of Destiny playing cards, each card has an illustration by a popular Destiny circle.

Cute laminated chibis I bought. This circle likes to do chibis from most popular series and popular characters get lots of different versions. This is particularly true for Seed/Destiny though the R1 Geass characters had a few different versions. Sadly there are no R2 Geass characters.

AsuKira purse by Flying Spider and a Suzaku keychain
Other items I own that are different: Tenipuri doujishi clock, a Suzaku photo Album and a Code Geass keitai strap as well as lots more laminated cards, pads, posters and postcards.
Also if anyone is interested I've listed my L-Bi for sale as well as one of my Kuutas, some wings, a Demian head and I have feelers out on my Nagisa. So if anyone on my flist is interested, just let me know. :)

Date: 2008-11-20 03:59 pm (UTC)I prefer ShinnKira to FragaKira lol But I love seeing where and how circles move because sometimes it makes complete sense and other times it leaves you going o_O
I'll see what I can do, I need to spend some time working on sales today and then I need to draw some.

Date: 2008-11-20 06:46 pm (UTC)Heh, I like either pairing, I think I usually don't mind as long as it's someone I like with Kira. XD;; But you're definitely right, it's really interesting to keep an eye on doujinshi circles and see what they're doing and how they've changed!
Good luck with everything you have to do, then~! :D

Date: 2008-11-20 02:03 pm (UTC)And not the Schneizel soup/ramen spoon?
I don't think I could bring myself to ever use it, but when I saw it on Y!J I HAD to have it! The Suzaku chibi on the rim has Arthur with him.(no subject)

Date: 2008-11-20 02:09 pm (UTC)I think I'm going to have to skip since hobby money is not quite as forthcoming as I would like. ;;_;; I had played with the idea of a Mimi but she just might be too mischievous looking for Nunnally and I don't want to let you miss the chance on a pre-order person.
