Happy Birthday to [livejournal.com profile] ginarolo!

Wheeeeeeee I think I am getting Yo Tenshi!Hinata Finally an adorable little Yuzuriha to be Yuutan's little daughter. All that is left is figuring out what size eyes I like for her and if I have a color that works or if I need to buy some.

BTW if anyone is interested I'm probably selling my L-bi. ^^

Thanks!

Are you in Japan now? Congrats on the new Yo-tenshi.
Wonder if the economy in Japan made for a big or small turnout in Kyoto.

I would go with 14mm eyes for either new Yo-tenshi.

No, I'm in NY, I'm leaving on Thurs. I just am pretty sure I was able to procure a Hinata to be my little Yuzu-chan. I want to try some 14s and some 16s since Yuzu is actually supposed to be 5 or 6 vs my other Yos which are chibis.

I have several possible pairs that I've been holding onto in hopes of finding a good Yuzu and a wig and clothes. I plan to bring it all with me so I can get pictures of her at Sato when I go.

The event sounds like it was popular just way better organized than the one last Oct.

Hope your birthday was fun! :D

Hi, you don't know me, but since you were wondering, there was a big turnout, but the limiteds lasted a VERY long time. I can't say if this was because they made more than usual, or if people were limiting themselves to one because of the economy.

Interesting.

Glad the limits lasted longer and the event had a good turn out. Sounds like fun.

Dolls are luxury items but also a comfort and something to enjoy when things are rough. Good to know the loyal dolls fans still turned out.

Just to note, when I went last year the LE dolls lasted until #900 or so...

Some of the problems with last year that were not problems it seems this year were:

1) They were still handing out lottery #s at 9:30 so they didn't start lining people up until 10ish and got a late start.

2) They didn't have a separate line for Sumika items just the one LE line. A lot of people were there for the Yo outfits last year.

3) Pale blue wings are much more popular than orangey colored wings and this was a second release of those wings.

I think economic problems might not affect some of the Japanese buyers as much because a lot of them are women in their 20's and early 30's who live with their parents still so their incomes are completely disposable vs. a 20 something person in the US more likely to not live at home.
