So I did it, I booked my hotels in Japan. I decided in the end not to stay in the place in Ikebukuro because I partially didn't trust the website claiming there were rooms open since the actual website for the hotel said no. I mean it's possible the site had rooms on reserve... but even so...

triplepunch how does my arriving on Thursday night the 23 of October? On Friday I'm then going to head to Kyoto based on what your plans are. (i.e. if you want to karaoke with us and go to Sato on Sat we can leave together and if you're working Fri I'll leave when you get ready for work ^^; You're of course more than invited to karaoke, Sato and Comic City!/Osaka ♥ BTW I think there is a Dean and Deluca right near Nagoya Eki!!!! OMG you need to help me figure out where it is (I found a map) as I ♥ Dean & Deluca and their yuppie food. lol

Anyway, so as of now... I arrive in Tokyo on the 17th and I'm staying there until the morning of the 23rd when I leave for a day trip to Ise before meeting up with triplepunch hopefully! Originally I was not going to stay as long in Tokyo, but talking to ee970 I learned that with a rail pass one of my goals was an easy day trip from Tokyo. I am going to Mito and Kairaku-en. I plan on Monday the 27th to make the day trip to Kanazawa (go rail pass!) I'm also playing with the idea of a day trip to Nikko, Hakone, and Tokyo Disney Sea from Tokyo. I will have to see which are the ones I actually do.

I booked my full time in Kyoto and in the same hotel, but divided the reservations based on the fact I could get a much lower rate for the latter half of my stay through one website.

All I need to do is rent my keitai and get my pass.

So....

Who wants me to bring them things??? What do people want??? Who wants to meet???

Gah! I'm so excited! :D

Sounds good to me! My Friday class just ended, so I have no idea about what I'm doing on Fridays now. I'll go into work either today or tomorrow and see about getting the 23rd and possibly the 24th off. I'm so excited to see you! :D

As for stuff, just bring yourself and that's enough for me.

Ohhhh yeah!!!! I imagine you're going to Sato on the 12+13 for the event, so I'll understand if you can't go to Kyoto, but thought I should leave things open enough so you could possibly come to! :D

I'm excited to see you too!!! BTW I know your birthday is this week but when is it???? I am going to bring someone to play with everyone, possibly a few someones. :D

And we should definitely go to Pastel!! and get snacks at Dean and Deluca! ♥

BTW if you've not sent my things to my friend in Tokyo can you just send them to me. I've decided I just really want them at this point since I've been lusting for that one doujinshi with Gino in the trenchcoat since I saw a promo picture of it a month ago >>;; If you buy bubble wrap and just wrap them and a 250 yen box at the PO I'm happy to cover both of those costs as well. I just want the books before I go to UT preferably ^^;;;;

My flight gets in around 3:30 and I'm hoping to be in Tokyo and checked in by 6:30ish. I'm staying at one of the Nihombashi hotels and I will have a rental Japanese keitai. I'm only so good at using it for phoning people though. >>; I don't know anywhere good to eat in Nihombashi but I know a great Indian place in Ginza. ♥

My event is on Sunday though not Sat. ^^;;;;;

Ohhh OK that makes sense and wow that is just awful that they want you working week ends!

I should be all settled in by 7ish unless Customs is particularly bad. It helps that I know where my hotel is. >>;

I don't think I've been to that one, unless you mean the Mitsukoshi in Ginza not the Nihombashi one. I usually love Indian and my friends in Kyoto are less fond of it. But that idea also sounds good! ♥

OK I found it on my map. I should be able to get there and once I get my keitai # (usually about 24-48 hours before I leave for Japan) I will post it in lj in a filtered post. :D

Yeah yeah, I know that one too as well as the bridge. :P I've gone to the Starbucks across from that Mitsukoshi a few times as well as the depato itself. They had this wallet I almost bought last trip. ^^

The only restaurant I have been to near there was Italian and sort of ehhh, but I would love to do Indian ♥

I was sort of assuming you would come to Sato with us on Sat and was hoping you would join for marathon karaoke >>;; In America I'd positively love to have you come to Osaka Comic City with me! (and anyone else who wants to go!) It's much more fun with friends to wait in line with! I generally like to pick up copic markers and I was going to see what other circles I like might be going. And probably looking for stuff for friends

I arrive in Kyoto sometime on Friday (depending on triplepunch's plans and then am staying in Kyoto until Wed the 29th? I don't expect anyone to take off form work, but it is always nice to meet for dinner at the worst and we can have the intense scary do too much week end! >>;; sleep is for the weak BTW! do you want anything????
