I was much faster watching 19 this week in hopes of getting some good Suzaku screen time or if I was really lucky some GInoSuza. Sadly, this was not the case.


OK unlike the rest of the world, laughing hysterically doesn't cut it for me and I was disappointed cause it didn't seem like Suzaku did anything this episode. It was not cool it was not fun it was just sort of meh Suzaku-wise. Though I do want to know n the preview why it looks like people were pointing blades at Gino in 20. Please GIno be gay for Suzaku ;;_;; and Gino looked hot with his shirt partially opened. >>;;

However on the non-Suzaku front I loved this episode, which could very easily have been called "Oh, snap!" rather than betrayal.

I loved the insane faces Lelouch made, I love Rolo's equally crazed ones. I love Schneizel saving Cornelia.

Viletta/Ohgi are such a couple now.

I loved Schneizel sharing that Zero==Lelouch and the whole magic mind power. And wow, he didn't just make Suzaku look bad by having Kanon spy he also made Lelouch look awful. I loved seeing Suzaku's picture in the "geass'ed" pile. That whole meeting was just so made of win and Tamaki had me laughing.

I loved the Black Knight and Diethard going all betrayal. So is Lelouch now the Anti Jack? Also great, Anya now has her very own Fleia?!?!? And this is a good idea because??? I hope Gino doesn't get one too. ~.~

And "Hello Monica" I'm looking forward to your short life span.

And then Rolo... oh Rolo.... I can't decide if Lelouch actually feels bad about his death or not. XD;; I know I mostly feel bad bad cause i was hoping he would last longer. I'm going to miss my little psycho assassin.

So did Jeremiah remove the "live" geass off screen so that Suzaku can die dramatically later and we can get a flashback and I can roll my eyes at the non-plot twist?


I admit the angstier Geass gets the more cracktastic I get. I also want to state now I don't really want any spoilers so please please don't share any ^^;;

Hello! Yes, that was an amazingly epic episode. I was expecting greatness and angst galore from the silent preview, but this surpassed expectations! The check that Schniezel pulled was really quite unexpected for me.

And poor Suzaku, the Man Who Nuked Tokyo, just stood around staring angstily. At least he got some maniacal laughter for some variation. :p

Sigh. My little stalking, stabbing psychopath is no more! I belive that Lulu meant it when he lashed out at Rolo and told him he hated him and meant to kill him, and that Lulu was lying when he agreed with Rolo on this 'deathbed'. However, he's probably regretting it now. He did give Rolo a burial and grave, together with the locket. And from the voice over from the preview, we can tell Lulu feels bad about his life. He said Rolo's name before Shirley's!

I lol-ed at the line "Rolo, what exactly was the relationship between us?" *evil grin*

I totally didn't expect what Schneizel did and it was so brilliant and made up for all the teasing Geass did in R1 with Schneizel and not letting him do anything. I love how he did all of this without using any weaponry other than words XD;

I was let down with Suzaku after all the awesome things we've gotten in the past few episodes, I would have liked to see you know something more lol It seems like he is semi-back to normal in the preview though.

Well he gave Rolo a *GRAVE* we don't know about a burial XD;;;;

It's also hard to know what Lelouch is thinking from the voiceover cause in the voiceover Lelouch had that whole thing about how he understood Suzaku and blah blah blah and overall I would say he really dicked over Suzaku in 08 and while Suzaku to me looked heroic and a better person, the whole situation had to be mortifying.

I'm going to miss Rolo, he gave me much amusement and I loved how crazy he was. >>;

Mmm, I suppose we can't really take the preview voiceovers as strictly canon, then!

It has just struck me that we only have 7 episodes of Geass left. Ever. But I guess there's always all the crazy stuff they have around it like the Picture Book episodes, Sound Episodes, and manga! -.-

Maybe I was too shocked they killed him so early but I don't remember seeing an actual mound just the stone that he put the charm on. I seriously want to know how Lelouch even managed that since he's been pretty physically weak in R2.

It's not that you can't take them as canon so much as they're not really all that connected to things sometimes. ^_^;;; Again the way Lelouch talks about Suzaku in the preview for 08. It makes him sound a lot more sympathetic than he has been shown to be.

Is it 7 I thought it was only 4 or 5 ^^;;;

Once the show is over there is less likely to be new material though I hear there are several Geass AUs running in some magazines.

I share your pain on Suzaku's laugh. Sakurai was better with crying scenes.

I don't know about Rolo's death. It didn't do much for me, and honestly even Shirley's made more impact and I was like laughing during the whole scene >_> But I like that it made Lelouch feel bad.

And yes, what's that with Gino in the preview??

It's just not that interesting, it's not something that would make me say "Suzaku was amazing in this episode" vs. say episode 17 or episode 16. or episode 08 and 09 or even 13 Now if you asked me about Schneizel in this episode, then yeah he was amazing and the "OH SNAP" award definitely goes to Ohgi who was beyond awesome. ^^

I was shocked it happened to fast! I thought he would last longer. I felt bad for him and I think I am going to miss him since I loved the crazy. <3

I want to wait and see and not get spoiled on what is happening with Gino. I have a few conjectures but I am at the point where I just don't want spoilers with Geass at all and I am very nervous about people sharing them ^^;;;

The icons would be better if they had more asses, but I don't have many screencaps. I dunno, I think all you really need for icons is the Levels tool and the Sharpen tool. ...And maybe some Hue/Saturation but that's because I'm a whore who likes to oversaturate stuff at home and look at it at my work monitor and think "damn too bright :("

This is probably true, but Kallen is so frustrated. She thought she would finally get some Zero lovins after nearly killing Suzaku for him and instead all she gets is this lousy C.C. And just wait until Kaguya gets back to Japan. So underamused. And I guess Zero was wrong on Ohgi's loyalty levels a few episodes back XD;;

I need to screen cap Suzaku's more since I know he does show it off repeatedly. I have that one shot where he and Gino are showing off theirs but that's about it. I played arounf with sharpen and the hue saturations when making this lj icon :3
