OK So Suzaku who is the "dumb" one can figure out Lelouch is lying to him and OK Lelouch why ARE you lying?!?! What do you want Suzaku to rescue Nunnally DESPITE everything you've done? Are you trying to prove some sort of point? But Lelouch, the supposed smart one can't tell after the speech Suzaku made that he was sincere. I mean hello, if he was going to capture Lelouch just to turn him in couldn't have have done it easier before he you know swallowed his pride and told Lelouch to make the lies true and to stop the war? Call me crazy but if his goal was capturing Lelouch couldn't he have just easily done it when he was smashing Lelouch's face into the pavement? Suzaku did NOT drug Kallen. He got her into the chair was going to do it and then realized, no he is not Lelouch. And later let her beat him up. He is a genuinely nice guy in a crappy situation. I loved his scene with Anya and omg did anyone notice Arthur has been trying to get his attention has been snuggling him more lately? Also did Nunnally pick out Kallen's dress cause seriously only someone who is blind would pick it out!

OMG Luciano is insane and wants to do horrible things to Suzaku. He's bitchy to Gino but he wants to stick pointy things in Suzaku so that he is impaled on a rock since ClampSunrise won't allow penetration. I can see why there is a new sudden onslaught of Luciano trying to do bad things to Suzaku in fan-art.

Anyone notice that the person who knew Schneizel's moves was Kaguya and he knew hers? I love that little evil Sumeragi. >>;

I think it isn't that Lelouch is stupid as much as the creators want them to trade places, as in Lelouch now is the one who who doesn't trust Suzaku and Suzaku is the one who keeps something from Lelouch (like Lelouch did for the accidental factor in Euphie massacre). And the Sunrise people don't care how bad they have to butcher the character to achieve the effect -_-

See and instead it reads to me either: 1) Lelouch is a hell of a lot more unobservant since he is so self-centered or 2) Lelouch never really did trust Suzaku and is really just that much of a jerk. Sunrise has butchered characters before, but well.. gah it irks me if that was seriously the purpose! One can say that Lelouch is tired of trying to trust Suzaku, but yes, he's incredibly self-centered. I really don't know why he was lying, but that was really a bad move. Lelouch just can't think straight when it involves Suzaku.

What irks me more is his feelings for Nunnally. For someone who's trying to make a so-called better world for her, he doesn't seem all that sincere >_>

But Lelouch has never really tried to trust Suzaku before. ^_^;; Every so often he says he is going to and then completely backs off that. I think the only time we saw him truly "trust" Suzaku was back in R1 and it was to sve Nunnally from Mao. In R1 Suzaku tried to trust Lelouch, he might have at one point started wondering if Zero==Lelouch but he wanted to trust his friend. I don't know I guess for me it's just not really equivalent since like Suzaku really has good reasons to think poorly of Lelouch. Also, I hate to say it but when Suzaku did turn Lelouch in before, you know he was stark raving mad and shooting a gun and playing Spinzaku and then tying him up and trucking him off and forcing him to talk to Papa. He didn't try to offer his hand and make a speech about how he needs to make the lies the truth by working towards peace and better world. With my luck Suzaku is going to die and Geass will end with a living Lelouch thinking of how Suzaku told him to make the lies true and then trying to do that ~.~ Grrrrr I will so want to break things if that happens To me there is really no reason for Lelouch to have lied, it makes no sense.

The ending will be horrible but well I can get creative with it all being fake or something I mean, hey if Lelouch can go back to the right height in 17, the writers can forget that this should now be 2018 cause R1 was 2017, and do all the crack crap they've put in R2, I can make up my own happy ending too.

I saw it as Lelouch being the type of person who blows up and judges people first, and then thinks things over later. I think he's a bit rattled from having his face stepped on (which was AWESOME) and Suzaku NOT unconditionally pledging to protect Nunnally, so to him it came off like Suzaku waited for Lulu to give up as much as he could--humiliate himself as much as possible--before capturing him. Since, that's what Lelouch would do...

Lelouch is trying to play it all cool and take all the blame for the things he caused, both actively (Clovis) and passively (Shirley), and is punishing himself by making it all seem like he did it all according to plan. Maybe he figures it will be easier for Suzaku to not know it was an accident. Maybe he would rather have Suzaku's hatred than his pity. Either way, I got the feeling that Lelouch thinks that since HE is taking care of his punishment, SUZAKU should just accept that and take care of his sister (and maybe step on his head because that was kinda manly and hot). So, when Suzaku is like "you are full of lies but let's make it truth anyway," while a normal person reads this as 'I forgive you (more or less),' someone like Lelouch can't accept it at face value because his heart is 2 sizes too small. And then he got shot, and Kanon comes in, deliberately acting as if he is in league with Suzaku, and Lulu's natural tendency to trust no one is reinforced.

Obviously, those of us watching were like "you dumbass, he (more or less) platonic-loves you and is totally gobsmacked by this shit," but-- Well, this sort of fake backstabbing is a pretty common anime trope. I didn't call it beforehand, but I should've! Because Schneizel has been set up to be a bad guy since last season, so it's about time he did some badguy-type stuff instead of just watch Nina hump tables.

Honestly I thought this was a really good episode for Suzaku--even though he has sortof been betrayed by Britannia and inadvertently betrayed Lelouch, he seems to have FINALLY admitted that he doesn't want to hate his friend, so HOPEFULLY Sunrise will let him get on with growing and figuring out his life instead of putting him on backburner and making him do douchey things for no apparent reason (I prefer headstomps for justice and gutpunches for deleting the baby :P)
I found it interesting that he asked why he was 'cursed' with the Geass order to live... BAWWW SUZAKU

...I totally could ship Gino/Kallen/Suzaku, mainly because Gino would be so good for them both! Plus, Gino would totally like tits. I mean, who doesn't like tits? Kallen and Suzaku could just beat each other up a lot, and then she could use her Zero(tm) brand vibrator while Gino and Suzaku go at it. I think it would be totally functional. Maybe throw in some Anya, idk.

Luciano is a nutcase out to rape EVERYONE and kill them. Personally, I think this adds to his charm.

O_O The only thing bad about it is it's from R1 and Kim is going as Gino but OK this might solve things! and the dark circles would actually help XD;; I might try one of the China places still maybe but I hate to spend the money and then not get anything.

I am so aboard the Nunnally/Lolo/Lulu train so long as Nunnally gets to top XD;;;; Cause we all know she is the one who Charles really should be watching out for. XD;;

I feel like Charles wants his kids gunning for his job, but it's like it almost feels like he did everything in Geass to set up Lelouch to gun for it and doesn't take any of the other kids as competitors seriously. We all know Schneizel or Kanon have a Geass since like everyone in R2 has one, even the ninja maid who can GROW! But if I were Charles I would worry about Schneizel or Nunnally taking me out before Lelouch since he's too busy designing Black Knight merchandise and is busy with samples for the Paris Fashion shows.

I am not so fond of Kallen so it didn't bother me at all Yeah it was a bit OOC, but he was pretty damn pissed over the whole Shirley incident. It's like another of his female friends who wants to be done by Lelouch gets killed by him. lol But in the grand scheme of douchieness in Geass its not so bad since he doesn't follow through which is the whole point I think of that exercise Kallen also gets in that slap when he suggets it. Kallen in a box is a little o_O;

Personally, I would rather Suzaku lives, even without Gino. I would be pleased if it ended with say Suzaku learning to smile again. And I don't really see Suzaku having probs now with trusting his dear friend because 17 shows he was going to trust Lelouch again in the end. He's the one who offered his hand and said make the lies the truth. If that's not saying he's going to give Lelouch another chance nothing is.

And it's clear Nunnally is pretty awesome when she doesn't have someone trying to take care of her. She is totally wearing the pants now despite wearing one of the girliest dresses in Geass.

I think sometimes the directors throw out red herrings and sometimes want to do things and then don't cause they don't have time, etc. I mean I remember reading somewhere that Asuran was going to lose like a hand or arm or something at the end of Seed 01. I also seem to remember the director saying the wench in Seed would get a chance to show she is not a wench and that so never happened except in Kira's imagination which does not count!

...Why does your ending match up with my vision of the actual ending? ;o; ...instead of my IDEAL ending which has CC drawing an Utena sword out of Charles and EPIC BATTORU and ends with a giant orgy of like everyone in the series and after getting passed around the Black Knights like a bong at a frat party (used hard and full of liquid) Lulu finally makes it to Suzaku and is ready to embrace his first and last friend when Rolo appears from the shadows in black pleather and drags him off and ties him up in a corner so that Kaguya (also in bondage gear) can give him a spanking, to Kallen and Diethard's great satisfaction. Later, Nunnally "punishes" Rolo for being mean to their older brother but he doesn't really mind. Also, Nina realizes that her beloved table was actually made of Japanese wood and decides that elevens aren't so bad after all. THE END~~ (o yeah and Rivalz gets married to Milly so he can be her bitch /o/)

I definitely think that competition is encouraged in the *i Britannia household, so I wonder what is up with the random bitchy sisters who we only saw as an aside in that one episode and how well they are doing. (It amuses me that the first in line is so incredibly impotent. I mean, after his failed marriage to a 10 year old, Schneizel put him to bed for a nap. )

The only other ending I could maybe possibly see is in the last big battle, Ledouche thinks about what Suzaku said and his heart grows 2 sizes and Ledouche sacrifices himself splendifilisouly to save the world just like Jesus! ad bring peace and love for Nunally. It's not as good as your ending, but I would way take it over the ending I keep thinking is going to happen ~.~ I want to see Kaguya and Rolo spank Ledouche with Diethard filming it <3 <3 <3 Milly can air it later. <3 Do Ohgi and Viletta end up together? I sort of want Kaguya to find her and release her in her battle for "love and justice!"

This is not a spoiler since I am again making this up, but my vote for 18 or 19 is.. during big battle Ledouche thinks he is winning when Schneizel announces to Ledouche he knows the truth, that Ledouche is doing this for vengeance but Ledouche has it all wrong and his mom is reall Anya. You so know it's coming cause Sneaker telegraphed that plot twist nearly as well as Seed did when they shared that Cagari and Kira had the same birthday and bloodtype back before Andy even showed up. lol

Ohgi's voice actor was going on about how he was in a "Showa-style romance"... When I think Showa, I think melancholy and possibly being hit by a truck. I don't think happy ending. :(

I have to figure out how to make Failouch be punched by Kallen. This may take a lot more animation skillz than I have but we shall see. The comm IS full of morons, but I keep hoping one of them will write me fic I actually care about. At least they put up scans and shit every so often.

Odysseus just seems so...English royal. He probably likes tea and crumpets and bathtowels and every so often he has to ride a horse for state functions but they're just so skittish and he doesn't enjoy it very much at all.
