So for those who are amused by my continuing adventures breeding imaginary ponies...

Kamui had Lelouch's baby today:

Who I am tempted to name Isumi XD;;;

And Suzaku had Knight of the Three's baby XD;

Who I am thinking of naming Yuzu-chan lol

I'm thinking once she is old enough of breeding Lelouch and Anya.

In other news, we got a huge bag of Pursulane this week from our CSA. PURSULANE! ~.~ It's like some sort of weedy green ground cover and I am at a loss of what to do with it other than salads. Why can't we get something useful like say, arugula or spinach or well something! I like eating greens, I like things like lima beans and peas, but pursulane?!?!?!

The hubby and I recently finished watching Detective Loki and now we are watching Angelic Layer. I've not seen AL since 2001 when it aired. It was the first series I heard Hoshi Souichirou in and won me over to be a fangirl of his. Rewatching AL now is just so amusing since it has a bunch of other Geass people in it Though I swear I would never believe Kotarou was Lelouch/Zero lol but Cecile and Guilford are really obvious XD;; AL is so cute and fun though and I think I am developing a crush on Oujirou again lol He doesn't always say a lot but he is in it an awful lot. I think Oujirou and Gino might be my two favorite Hoshi roles. I also love Tamayo and Hatoko is more fun knowing she also voices Nanami. It's also a lot more fun because I feel like I know Wakayama a lot more intimately lol And OK if Ringo Seto was in Seed she would be Lux! :D And OK the Ogata torture is so love. If you've not seen AL I would definitely recommend it. It's also the only Clamp series I hands down prefer the anime over the manga by a lot. >>;

Oh! And Happy 4th! :D

Poor Ogata. It's a wonder he never resigned! AL was such fun to watch. I did it again a couple of years ago when I got my youngest brother into it, and it was just as much fun second time round. (I never read the manga, though.) It's probably one of the CLAMP series I can enjoy the most without too much heavy-duty angst and craziness getting in the way, and just marvel at it for what it is.

I might have rewatched an episode or two when I was working on Wankage to remind me how Misaki talked and acted but I'd not really watched it since it aired and it's just such a fun and interesting series. I really like how the anime does a good job of introducing future rivals and giving them depth and then keeps them around.

It's funny after having seen other series Hatoko doesn't annoy me anywhere near as much. I think it's like when I finally watched some Wing, Relena didn't seem that bad cause I had already encountered the wench of Seed. XD;

I don't like the manga as much. The characters have less depth and Shuuko's reason for staying away from Misaki is completely ridiculous. (vs. in the anime it makes sense) There is angst in the series Misaki just played Sai but it's not like in X. But on the other hand it seems more.. believable and more realistic angst not like having your pseudo boyfriend/best friend kill his younger sister who is also your pseudo girlfriend/best friend. Wait is that X or Geass?

Purslane

It's purslane, not pursulane, silly. (See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Portulaca_oleracea.) You must be watching too much anime. ^_^ It's actually very good, especially with beans in the recipe you made up the other day. You still need to post that one to the CSA website.

Lots of love and cuddles,

- Husband who likes watching Angelic Layer with you
