Leaving again
Jan. 23rd, 2008 06:31 pmI found a place to download Xjournal from, which I am quite pleased about. Ijournal is nice when you want to post to a community, but it doesn't seem to have automatic spell check and it keeps everything default from post to post so you need to remember to fix tags and where you are posting sometimes. ~.~ Now to remember all my passwords so I can set things up so I can log into my other LJs from Xjournal. >>;
So, I did it. I am leaving for Japan on the morning of 2/15 and coming back Monday the 25th. Airfare went up originally $100, but then I switched to Kansai Airport and the fare dropped $50. This also means I can get my rail pass to start on Monday and only have to pay for 2 nights of hotel in Tokyo which should cover the $50 easily lol So now I need to get a 1 week pass, get a hotel in Tokyo, and rent a cell phone. Go me! I also put in for an upgrade on the NY to SFO legs of the flight since I have 20 use them or lose them upgrade certificates. Let's hope this Premier Executive thing helps, cause while not as nice as International Business Class, any business class is better than none. lol
Other than the Geass event, my goal is to see Ise. (and maybe Pearl Island) At the moment, I'm hoping to go on my way from Tokyo. I'd also like to finally see one of the villas you need to make a reservation to see in Kyoto and do that hike from Fushimi Inari to Tofukuji. I'd also like to get some more more temple stamps. :D
This also means I need to scan more. For those curious so far I have 100+ Clamp and Seed/Destiny doujinshi to sell, I have another 50-60 Geass, and I don't know how many PoT and other series. I also will be selling a lot of merchandise.
