Coming to terms with loss
Jan. 16th, 2008 10:43 pmI've not sent out my hard drive yet, so that I can completely come to terms with the loss of my data in case it is not recoverable or the price is beyond what I am willing to pay. It seems easier that way. I had the small bright spot recently that about 20 of my May trip pictures (maybe more) were sitting on my husband's desktop leftover from when he uploaded the sangaku pictures. It was a real happy surprise.
Things have been quiet as I try to completely shake my cold, though I did, finally, make it back to the gym and I scanned 100 doujinshi to sell. Sadly, that is just the first run through Seed and Clamp doujinshi. ^_^; I hope to start doing descriptions in a little bit. I'm also still thinking about Japan. I talked to the consulate and as long as my passport is valid when I arrive and valid when I leave I should be fine and as I only want to spend a week or so in Japan, that works nicely.
My other project has been going through my mp3s and rating all my songs so that eventually I can delete the ones that I don't actually like and have no idea why I have. Like do I really need 30+ Prince of Tennis Radio programs or 30+ Seed ones? And on that note, I'm asking my friend's list, despite the fact neither of these songs is particularly good, if anyone has Jordin Sparks - Tattoo and Katherine McPhee "Over It" I'd really really love a copy of them. They're so far the only 2 songs I know I had that I've lost.
