Books

Things have been busy here, and yet not. My neighbor helped me to discover that the green that is doing very well is in fact Kale and not Broccoli Rabe. On the bright side, this means it's actually ready to be eaten. The peas are still doing well and continuing to produce new flowers and pods. I think I am going to dig up the other bed and replant things there. Mostly, I want to try to plant things that can grow in a cold frame. This means: Arugula, Carrots, Radishes, and spinach. I'm also considering cauliflower.

My zucchini is still only making male flowers, but I am going to at least try to get up early so that I can pick them to make something out of them. I am still seriously considering buying a huge plastic storage container to try to grow tomatoes and potatoes.

In other news, I am strongly considering joining one of those paperback exchange websites. There are quite a few books I would like to own and quite a few I would be glad to get rid of. I could rant for hours on how I HATE No Touch Monkey and I still can't believe the author was actually paid money for said book. ~.~
