Sorry it has been so long since I posted. Most of my days seem to consist of going out early in the morning and coming back late in the evening. Warning, spoilers for any series I am watching below. This post is long, babbly and full of a mix of real life, doll and anime hijinks. You've been warned.

Summary of my trip aka why I hate my credit card )

Today is my day to relax, go to the PO and maybe see if I see any sakura. They've only just started to come out I've noticed from the train. It's quite exciting because while I expect I will miss the main part of it, I will get to see something hopefully!
I'm so sorry I'm so late with this, I forgot my cable for my camera at Kate's and then the last two days have been exhausting. ^^;;

So as a belated post in honor of Sarah Schoch..

Some of you may know of Sarah Schoch, the sweet girl that Make-A-Wish and Volks helped fulfill her dream of going to Tenshi no Sato in 2005. You may also have read her most recent post and know that things are not going so well for Sarah. After she made this post, she didn't respond for a while and a number of us got very concerned about her, but with the help of Volks, we finally got her contact information. I sent an email to her last week and got the sweetest response. She is an amazing young woman, whose bravery and maturity go far beyond her 18 years. She was truly surprised that so many people in the BJD community care for her and since she is no longer able to go to school and see her friends, she was comforted to discover that she had so many "virtual" friends.

I think that a lot of us realize just how close the BJD community is, but I was thinking that it would be nice to really show it. So, I'm proposing that next Sunday, March 18, we all post in our LJs special pictures of our dolls that remind us of this friendship to honor Sarah and each other. If possible, please don't friends-lock the post and add a link to Sarah's journal, so that she can find the pictures.

I don't know Sarah actually so I don't know her LJ, but I did want to share a picture. It was exactly this sense of community that develops because of the love of BJDs which Shigeta-kaichou talked about while I was interviewing him at Tenshi no Sato. So while I am late in participating, I was thinking of Sarah on the 17th as well as since then.

This is my Yo!Chinatsu Lux, at Tenshi no Sato. At the moment, she is one of my favorite dolls. I hope all the well wishes help Sarah.
