WINDFALL

I was planning to write a long wangsty LJ post about how my job sucks and other boring things, but have come into a sudden windfall which is too happy. A bunch of months ago, my husband submitted a ton of documentation (which we even got notarized!) to join a class action suit about being overcharged for title insurance when buying our house. We received a notice after submitting that in fact we had not been overcharged so we expected that was the end of it. However, today in the mail we received two checks (we bought the house and then refinanced twice) for a whole heck of a lot more money than I had ever expected to get from the suit. HAPPINESS!!!

Plus I go to Japan in 2 days!!!! (Though of course I have to pack and do laundry still lol)
