So anyway, I've been busy trying to get ready for Passover, for those people on my friend's list who don't know it, yes, I'm Jewish and yes, I even practice Judaism still to some extent. What this means in terms of Passover is, I need to clean my entire house from top to bottom, do lots of food shopping, and help prepare two sedar meals. It's a lot of work and I'm happy that part of Passover is now over. ^^ I'd like to thank [livejournal.com profile] becroberts for the really thoughtful Passover card. It meant so much to me and I'd like to wish a Happy Passover to anyone who reads my LJ and celebrates the holiday.

And yeah!!!! 2 nights down, 6 more to go!!!!

For those who are curious...

So what exactly is Passover and what is Rachel talking about )

Yesterday, I was charge of cooking for Passover. Fortunately, we were getting the small crowd, which is nice cause I only like cooking for so many people. I had a minor trajedy when I opened my unopened box of matzoh meal and found bugs in it!!!!! GROSSSSSSSSSSS Why would bugs want to be in matzoh!!!!! I also think there are bugs in one of my spices!!!! EWWWWWWWWWWW I need to figure out which one so I can toss it >.< I tossed out the first batch of eggs cause of it, but I'm not sure if it was the Oregano or Basil still.

On a Passover note.... where Judaism and PoT combine... coincidentally the word "inui" (and pronounced the same way) in Hebrew means "affliction." So... you know it makes sense that Inui likes to make bitter juices that afflict his team mates....

Further combinations of PoT and Judaism in wrong ways... )
