And it's the return of Japan pictures since I am not going to sketch or scan until tomorrow so I can sketch while I do a back up.

So April 30, was my date to visit Tenshi no Sato and order FCS. The weather was perfect but sadly I spent all my time inside placing my FCS order (I'm getting a F-35 to try out for Yuutan and Kim is getting a F-38 to be her new Leon) It just took a lot longer than I anticipated because I was determined to get everything right, since this is for Yuuta! So very few Sato pictures. After placing my order I enjoyed my cake in the cafe and then went to see the One Offs. i was very very bad and took pictures even though I know you're not supposed to >>;; One Off #1 didn't come out well but she was a Momoko I think

#2 is a Madoka by Aone

Also by Aone, I forgot who this is, I think Sakaki?

Michael by Saifa

Shiratori by Valico

Tsukasa by K. Mayura

Aya by K. Mayura I think?

Elsie

Byakuren by Saifa

I think Toyha by Saifa

SwD Kira by Saifa

Sayuri (Bianka) showing off her new wig and outfit from the Dolpa bought by accident ^^;

Sato

Crappy picture of Kira and Lux celebrating Children's Day

Another, they refused to pose ~.~

Azalea at Sato

Post Sato I went back to the hotel, dropped off my things and went to BIC Camera Kyoto to look for the KORG accessory [livejournal.com profile] kyashieru, who had the day off from work, and we were going to visit Nagaoka Tenman Gu as, I wanted to see the azaleas and wanted my temple stamp since my last trip I'd forgotten it! The azaleas there are supposed to be 150 years+ old and last time I went it was the end of the season, this time it was much more in season and not raining either. :D

Wow, I got a pigeon in flight lol

Because it is holiday time, there were lots of stalls selling things

The famous Sangaku Math problems from 1790!

We then went to Osaka to do some shopping. I was mostly good and mostly resisted buying useless figures I don't need. >>; I did buy a yummy crepe from my favorite crepe place

The Don Quixote Ferris Wheel, the only one that doesn't scare the bejeebers out of me. They finally finished construction on this bridge, so the view actually looks nice and there is plenty of room for the pedestrians who stop and chat here. lol

We got dinner at Pastel, notice a trend lol And then headed back to Kyoto before parting ways.

Well, it helps I went to Nagaokyo Tenman-gu which is famous for its azaleas lol A lot of people up here own azaleas but it's just different seeing them in Japan are a shrine.

I felt a little guilty sneaking photos but the Japanese tend to as well. XD;

I really like Elsie, I think she's an underrated MSD. I sort of hope at some point she gets re-released.

I particularly like them from this one place in Osaka, they do this amazing custard, chocolate custard and cream one <3 (Though honestly the best crepes I ever had were still in France lol Nutella+crepe==true love)

So glad you are enjoying the pictures! :D

The oneoffs are so pretty, thanks so much for being sneaky and sharing ♥ I'd love to see the Momoko oneoff even if it didn't come out xD The Shiratori and Aya are my favorites.

The pathways look so pretty full of flowers... and Sayuri is so cute ^^

I have to re-edit it. The giant one I took with my camera is fine, but the one I resized got resized the wrong way so it's wonky. When I have some time I will fix it, I'm just so behind at the moment. ;;_;;

I really liked the Aya, but not enough to put in lol

Most of the pathways are in Nagaokyo. Sato was really pretty, but Nagaokyo was just gorgeous! :D

And yes, I hope the NY Dolpa has really nice One Offs too!

The bridge is done now? That's good to know!

There are some quite cute dresses in your doll pics - am I imagining things or is that Aya Alice in Wonderland-themed?

Yes, though now they're working on the other two bridges on either side lol But since I never use those I don't care. I think they finished before February, but it was rainy the day I was there in Feb.

And probably? The Japanese have a huge thing for Alice and it generally gets combined with their love of loli-wear.

Madoka is super popular with collectors and very hard to come by. I prefer Madoka boys. XD;;

I think people would look at you pretty strangely if you tried to do a cosplay photo shoot at most temples/shrines. lol At least when they have a lot of other visitors. But the scenery is really lovely.

My bangs? I've been growing them out since March 2007. I've wanted to see what I looked like without them.

The rest of my hair? I had it trimmed in March or April. It was longer when you saw me in February. I think it can just look a little different when I pull it back like that. ^^;
