I leave Wednesday at 6:00 am for Japan. This means once again I need to figure out I what I must do in the next 24 hours. Between Passover and cleaning I've gotten a bit behind which is never a good place to be.

1) Get Money/turn into Traveler's Checks
2) print out all receipts/hotel vouchers etc
3) Print FCS piccies
4) send out some cards
5) Buy labels to pre-print addies for post cards
6) work on the yard (hopefully)
7) back up the computer
8) laundry
9) pack!

Wheeee the question is can I get this all done or will I spend all day reading YuGiOh fic again. ;;_;;

Being up to 2:00 am would be very bad since I need to leave for my flight at 4! But as I am flying Business class this trip it should all be OK no matter what, I think >>;

Well, you've made a list, and that's a good start! :) Though fanfic can be a mighty distractor...

I mailed the check and I hope it gets to you in time! We live in the same state...you'd think the post would be quicker. XD

Good luck getting everything done!

Also if you can give me any hints on getting BPAL out of the bottle I would be appreciative

I don't know how most people do it... I have a big pile of disposable pipettes that I use when I'm transferring BPAL from the bottle to a roll-on bottle or imp.

Ummm, if you find any YoSD-sized brown kitty wigs, I'd appreciate it very much if you could get me one! I understand that they might not be readily available, though. :)

Most of all, have a great time! :D

And where does one get the pipettes or a roll on bottle? I gave in and bought myself a vial of Earth Rat and got 2 other scents while I was at it) and now have a few scents as well as 6 free sample imps to try out. lol (Though I'm thinking some of these free ones are just not going to be to my taste at all... >>;)

And will definitely look for the wig! Dolpa is usually a decent place to find things like that :D

I bought my stuff from Pilot Vials (http://www.pilotvials.com/)... I'd be happy to send you some of mine, but I suspect they wouldn't arrive in time for your Japan trip. :( Let me know if you'd like me to send you some for a later occasion, though!

I find that a lot of the time, the free imps that BPAL sends are not to my taste. I'll usually review them just so I know what scents I like and don't like, but sometimes I feel like... "What?! Why did you think I'd want this??" It makes me very happy if I get a scent that I've been meaning to try, or a scent that I'd never thought of ordering that turns out to be great.

I've been having trouble narrowing down my choices for the Atomic Luau tiki cocktail scents, which are coming down today. :( My decants didn't arrive in time, so now I have to take a wild stab at which of my shortlisted eight scents I actually want to buy in bottle form.

I bought one of the Atomic Luau scents. I bought the Riptide one to try. It smells amazing in the bottle, I'm not sure how it will work on me though lol To me in the bottle it smells super fruity.

For Japan I plan to just bring various imps, I find it is the perfect time to sample things randomly or work through imps of scents I like. I might take you up on the imp offer. If you don't get Riptide you're welcome to some of mine.

Grand Guignol might be OK and Embaling Fluid sounds better from its description than from the name but 21 just seems too alcoholic for me lol I am so tempted by the Miskatonic Valley scent. >>;

Right now, I've narrowed to down to:
1. Blue Fire (blueberries, papaya, lemongrass and gin... I've heard many good reviews of it!)

2. Rangoon Riptide (glad to hear you like it!)

3. Opuhi (ginger blossom and vanilla orchid, supposed to be nice)

...but I'm still tempted by Golden Wave (Tangerine, gin, passion fruit, guava, and tonic. Reviews say it's sweet and fruity with a slightly green scent) and Screeching Parrot (Golden rum, apricot liquor, pineapple, pomegranate, ginger, brandy, grapefruit, and pink lime. Reviews say that it's sweet and fruity and the ginger keeps it from being TOO sweet.)

I find Upa Upa a bit tempting (coconut spiced rum) but there's a similar General Catalogue scent that I'm going to try as an imp. Tupapau (White sandalwood, pikaki, 'umi'umi-o-dole, and plumeria) makes me curious, but apparently umi umi o dole is Spanish moss, and I don't think moss smells good on me. :(

I love fruity scents so much, it's hard to choose!

OK since my Gluttony was fading I decided to try Rangoon Riptide, to me it started very Juicy Fruit and then mellowed to nice coconut and fruit scent. I definitely like it.

I thought about trying some of the others but I was so nervous, but I know LEs are hard to come by once they are no longer made. Blah!

Let me know what you decide on! :D

I ended up ordering all three of my shortlist: Blue Fire, Rangoon Riptide, and Opuhi. Of course, I still have decants of the other scents on the way... I just hope I don't fall in love with any of them (and if I do, I hope I can find a decanter who still has a partial bottle to sell!)

I'm hoping the weather is as nice in Japan. I hate cold weather lol

I totally understand~ That's how an ENTIRE weekend of mine got eaten up about a week ago. There was this Buffy fic I just could not. Stop. Reading. :D;;

Thanks~! I love that picture of them~ Since Fuuma for once does not look evil. XD

The fic was surprisingly addicting, it had demons, angels, vampires, magical constructs, all sorts of good things! :D

Well, since this one is AU you wouldn't actually need to have seen any YuGiOH to get it lol Mostly the actual series just gives you a good idea of what the characters look like.

If you want to try it: Faust (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/2045537/1/Faust)

It's quite fun and involved, the author seems good at intertwining threads.

Ooh, hey, I may check that out~ I've read a bunch of the manga, even if I haven't seen any of the series, so I know who everyone is and stuffs. :D

Well-written fic is always exciting to read, regardless of the genre!

Well if you just know physically what everyone looks like you're mostly set for AU fics lol This one might be my favorite of all the ones I've read. It is slash mostly and has the best Otogi I've seen in a fic <3 It's really addicting. I also really liked Redemption (http://ygo.adultfanfiction.net/story.php?no=600100550)

It's also an Angel/Demon/human one but it's not quite as good as Faust.

Enjoy!
