Disappointment

rkoldSo despite being bad about going tot he gym and cleaning the house I gave in and watched the new episode of Code Geass. So far the best thing I can say is ummm pretty Clamp Illustrations for the ED and really gay GinoSuzu in the OP and
Nannally doing her Kotori immitation and Rollo pretending he is Kamui
Euphie and Cornellia looking pretty
Gino looking hot and his shirt is partially opened!!! <3
Wangsty uke Suzaku <3
Wow, that really sucked, like truly sucked and was so disappointing. I can't believe I waited nearly a year for this. I'm so glad I didn't try to go to the premier, I'd have been ranty afterwards. First, WTH, why didn't they just execute all those members of the Black Knights, I mean come on, it's been a year and Clovis/Britannia had no problems liquidating the ghetto and killing like random non-revolutionary Japanese. o_O; So Lelouch lost his memory and had to re-live a new version of episode 01 except with more Rollo and no Suzaku? Seeing Lelouch get all horrified by the violence seemed so wrong, and wow can Sunrise whore out Kallen even more? You so know this episode is asking to be a bad hentai doujinshi. It just seemed too much like a re-hash of the first episode from R01 only not as good.
Other thoughts.. so is Cornellia dead? Is that why she is with Euphie and not in the OP and someone else seems to be running Japan? Damn it! I liked Cornellia and she didn't seem anywhere near as badly off as still living Ougi. I hate Rollo. Yes, I know he is either V.V. or Nannally or something else fake, it's completely obvious since we already know Lelouch doesn't have just one brother (unless somehow he's killed Schneizel and Odysseus and we missed it) But damn is Rollo annoying, I don't think I can take another 24 episodes of him. ;;_;;
So C.C. is now leading the rebellion? That is just so wrong on so many levels.
So if that OP picture is right, does this mean we're eventually going Suzaku/Kallen like I long thought? Also wow like no bones for the Lelouch/Suzaku fans this episode, though the OP is making me think we might be getting some GinoSuzu doujinshi. Also, is Schneizel going to finally be evil and do something, and was it just me or in the OP did the Emperor go all GEASS!
Sadly, the doujinshi I've seen dealing with this seem better and I still want to know more on what happened with Lelouch, Suzaku and the gun.
The OP and ED suck too, why couldn't we keep Access, that was good ;;_;;

sumeragiskank I also tried Vampire Knights. (that and I can't resist Hoshi and OMG he sounds manly! O_O ) So far I'm really liking it, the OP and ED are good and I adore the main character Yuuki. She's so adorable, I can seriously see why the various characters want to date/taste her. Aido is so awesome and so is Headmaster Cross! Poor Kain is just so put upon and I am looking forward to seeing more of this!

Date: 2008-04-11 01:45 am (UTC)About the episode itself, I must say that you're not the only one who's disappointed. Maybe I'm anticipating too much, the season 1 being awesome and all. But still, they're waaaaaaay too many unreasonable things in this episode. Oh God, I dearly hope this doesn't turn like Destiny for SEED.
Suzaku/Kallen? ...ugh, unless they make her more interesting, I'd have to say poor Suzaku, I think he's being punished.
I personally quite like the OP song. Of course Access is totally kickass (and no one ever beats Mosaic Kakera as an ED song), but the new one isn't half bad.
Well, let's just hope the second episode isn't as disappointing
or Gino can make up for the loss by molesting Suzaku more.I guess I should try watching Vampire Knight. I find Yuuki excruciating and unbearable in the manga. Maybe she's better in the anime...

So chained and pretty in the ED. I thought 02 was better than 01 but still so WTH at various times. That and again I am sick of the re-hashing. I hope we don't get Rollo now having a princess fall on him or another cat, this is not Sailor Moon. XD;
I have weird taste in music, the OP does not appeal but it's not as gosh awful as the one form before that I could not listen to. It's just not something I would ever buy vs. say the Access song.
To me it's already so Destiny. >>;; I swear at the moment my love if Gino and desire for the GinoSuzu slash is keeping me going. >>; Gino is just so into the touchy feely with Suzaku! lol
