I am addicted to YuGiOh. Yes, I know the anime ended a few years ago and the manga ended even longer ago so I'm definitely slow on the uptake but I now love it. ;;_;;

It all started with [livejournal.com profile] sumeragiskank introducing me to Yu Gi Oh the Abridged series which is just hilarious whether you ever watched the subs/dubs or nothing before or had no interest in the series previously. My husband and I were laughing out loud at Marik's Evil Council 1 and 2. From watching the abridged I turned to AMVs and I found myself falling for one of the many pairings. I'm sure one doesn't have to puzzle it out to figure out what I ship. Then it was fan-fic and then I started watching some random subbed episodes and then from 197-220. I also discovered the big pile of Jumps in my house I had wanted to get rid of contain the final Dark Games Arc of YuGiOh as well as the last installment. and wow what a downer ending in a way Perhaps I will try to learn some Japanese/practice my hiragana/katakana by gong through them.

Now I need YuGiOh lj icons. ;;_;;

And next week Geass starts up and I can finally see if Season 2 is going to give me the SchniSuzu and GinoSuzu I am anticipating it will and I can see if I hate Rollo as much as I anticipate.

In other news, I saw 39 Steps. I had thought it was going to be a spoof musical, my mother had thought it was going to be a serious play, we were each half right. I spent the first 10 minutes waiting for someone to burst out to song and after no one did, quickly discovered my mistake. However the play was hilarious. I think I was most impressed by Man #1 and Man #2 who played most of the roles in the 39 Steps other than the main character Hannay and a few of the female parts. My favorite parts involved one of the chases in Scotland and Man #1 and Man #2 at the Inn.

We had planned to eat lunch at Blossom for lunch (Don't click on the link if you don't want to be assaulted by gosh awful sound effects from the website, for some god forsaken reason, Blossom is convinced people visiting their website want to hear elevator music with the steady hum of people chatting in the background and refuse to make it so you can TURN OFF THE SOUND ). However upon arriving there via cab I pointed out to my mother it looked awful dark. She waved away my fears only to discover it does not serve lunch. ~.~ Hungry, we walked to the Chelsea Market where we ended up at The Green Table. Specializing in Organic, local and yummy food. I was quite pleased. They might even had something my picky eater friends would eat since they seemed to go more for simple and down to earth. I had macaroni and cheese which was a treat since I can't remember that last time I had it. I also found out they get produce from one of the farms in our CSA. <3

I've decided since I'm not currently employed to go into NYC on Wednesday and see what I can get 1/2 price tickets to, assuming I am good and go to the gym on Mon and Tues like I should. >>; There are so many shows I would consider so I think it ought to be fun! :D
