Ehhhh

So I'm posting to my LJ again, I got a much much larger response to my last post than I ever expected in a million years. It just shows you that people will surprise you.

Anyway, I updated Penal-tea and finally announced the winner of the fanart contest. ^^

[livejournal.com profile] sumeragiskank and I also started the wrongest RPG probably ever. We still need someone to play a housemate from Rokkaku. Any curious, please visit [livejournal.com profile] real_world_teni or visit here.

For those people who want to see my beautiful new pink hat.

I added [livejournal.com profile] reieien, [livejournal.com profile] starside and [livejournal.com profile] erjika to the friend's list. *waves*

So how have I spent my last few days other than trying to respond to some of the posts to my last entry? (and then finally giving up.) Well, driving [livejournal.com profile] sumeragiskank back home, watching Gluehn, finally finishing Whistle, and watching the TB live-action movie.

Contrary to popular opinion I didn't think Gluehn was as bad as I expected it to be. I mean the plot was silly, but it really wasn't any sillier than the first WK. I was amused that now that Aya was working with Sena and Kyou, he'd graduated into becoming the responsible and intelligent member of Weiss. (I guess Omi had his hands full XD) While Aya wasn't shouting "Takatori!" incessantly, which was always good for a laugh, he seemed actually sort of together. I didn't mind most of the Gluehn character designs except for poor Brad, who well, I don't really want to talk about.

And on the major plus size, Schrient does not appear!

...Poo, I posted on the multiple post of this and you deleted it. XD

XD Now that is a gorgeous hat if I do say so myself. :3 ^_^

x_X; I wish I knew something about WK so this would be a semi-relevant reply, but I don't so instead I'll just coo over your hat.

-coos over your hat-

Oh, and what did *you* think of the TB live action movie? I've gotten mixed reviews from the people I know who've seen it.

Yeah! Am glad you like the hat!

Sorry! I was trying to fix it while you were posting, LJ was being wanky >.<

Anyway, the TB live-action movie IMHO is BAD!

I'm hoping to sell my copy. ^^

XDDDD LOL Yeah, that pretty much goes along with what everyone else has said. I think I saw it on e-bay at one point...o_O; was too afraid to even bid though, I would hate to ruin TB for myself. x_X

Hmmmmm I don't know if it would ruin TB for you per se.... It's just, well, very dull and I did better special effects in my video production class.

Subaru also dresses horribly!

But it bounced on your spam software for some reason ^^;

Anyway, I assume you know you're in the RPG. I posted their earlier. ^^

I got my copy via Y!J a few years ago and in all honesty, it sucks, it sucks a lot. Unless you are getting it really cheap I would not recommend it. ^^;

In fact I want to sell mine, which is why I made Kim watch it with me this past trip.

Awwww. I'm so sorry my dear. I didn't know you haven't seen the movie. But I have it and uh...well, I can send you a copy once I get back to the US. You'll just have to remind me ne. ^.~

*waves back* Ah Hi. *grins sheepishly* I asked [livejournal.com profile] isachi if it would be okay to add you. I didn't get to really talk with you when you were here last time, but I hope that I'll get to know you when you come back for Golden Week. ^^

*laughs* Gluehn eh? I didn't bring my cds of those with me. I think Aya/Ran, looks better with the long braid. But did you know that he's a bit "fuller" near the waist? I have to agree with you regarding Brad's character design. I sooo adore Brad and to give him such a crappy look, *gah*...enough said?

And yes, thank goodness Schrient didn't appear. ^^ Always a plus in my book that they don't.

Of course you can friend me ^o^

I like being friended, just so long as you know I'm opinionated, but I'm sure you know that already since 1) I'm friends with [livejournal.com profile] isachi and 2) You saw my rant. ^o^

I love Aya with the braid! I don't mind him being a little larger in Gluehn, I think he still looks very pretty and I think I like his costume better. XD

Poor Brad!!!! I really like him, though I think my favorite is between Nagi and Omi? Did you see our wrong PoT crossover into WK? *giggles*

I so do not like Scrient!

I so hope you come to Tokyo for GW!!!!!

Oh, I don't mind opinionated people. It takes the fun out when people aren't opinionated. And plus, [livejournal.com profile] isachi has always told me nice things about you. She just wished I had spent some time to get to know you. ^^ I just had prior obligations that day when you all were watching PoT musical. ^^;;

Though I whole-heartedly agree with you on the rant. You don't know how [livejournal.com profile] muscatlove and I have lie in bed in the dark a few times wondering where and how is it possible for Tezuka and Fuji to be together. I'm sorry, but I like Fuji with Yuuta. That's the best. ^^ Then, there's Fuji and Kawamura. And now, I like Fuji also with Tachibana. ^^;; Yes, you see, thanks to [livejournal.com profile] isachi who got me hooked into PoT, that's all I've been fangirling over.

There's a PoT crossover with WK???? O_O Oh, you must show me where it is. I'd love to read it.

Of course I'll come to Tokyo for GW. How could I pass up an opportunity to miss fangirling over PoT and other stuff? ^^
From: [identity profile] rkold.livejournal.com
I think one of my earlier entries has Ko's adorable picture of our PoT boys as Weiss. ^o^

Let's see:

Weiss was: Aya==Tezuka, Yohji==Oshitari, Ken==Momo, and Omi==Yuuta
Schwartz was: Brad==Keigo, Schuldig==Kirihara, Farfie==Ohtori, and Nagi==Ryoma
Schrient was: Hel==Kaidoh, Neu==Gakuto, Schoen==Kamio, Tot==Taichi

Asundry others:
TakatorisFujitoris:
Reiji==Nanjiroh, Hirofumi==Mizuki, Masafumi==Inui, Ouka==Fuji, Grandpa==Yumiko
Kritiker:
Persia==Sumire, Manx==Oishi, Birman==Arai
Aya-chan==Yamato, Kase==Sengoku, Sally==Shishido

Gluehn additions:
Sena==Horio, Sena's mom==Akutsu, Kyou==Akazawa, Kyou's brother==Minami
Todou==Sanada, Tsuji=sensei==Renji, Not!Crawford==Yukimura, G Class clones==Wakato and the Jousei twins ^o^

Rosenkreuz clones:
Leader who calls Brad "Onii-sama"==Hiyoshi, Giggle red-head==Eiji, Firepower one==Taka

It's pretty wrong if you think about the PoT boys as all the characters.

And I gave [livejournal.com profile] isachi most of PoT on CD, so in some respects you have me to thank for your PoT love ^o^ I adore Fuji with Yuuta. I can see him with Taka, but it personally doesn't do anything for me... But with Yuuta it just makes me poing ^o^ Of course since people say I'm the most Fujicesty foreign fangirl that makes sense....

And yeah for coming to Tokyo for GW! I really adore Tokyo, and I hear you and [livejournal.com profile] muscatlove missed the Shibuya Animate branch!
From: [identity profile] reieien.livejournal.com
Hehehehe. That's great!!!! Though you, PoT as WK characters....that's too funny. ^^

Yeh, I didn't know there was an Animate in Shibuya. I would have loved to go there.

*glomps* ^^ Thank you for the PoT. The addiction is wonderful.

Fujicest is absolutely my fav Fuji pairing. Though I'm beginning to really like Tachibana and Fuji. ^.~
From: [identity profile] rkold.livejournal.com
I'm terribly obsessive in a scary way. Or at least that is what people say.... Since you didn't get a chance to meet me you'll have to rely on Jen, Kate and Isa for info ^o^

I didn't know about the Shibuya one originally either. ^^; Someone I use to talk with mentioned that a friend found the full set of X pins there in Spring 2002, at about the same time I was searching Animates for them in Japan. (I was most distressed as I was trying to get the full set and between Ikebukuro, Akihabara and Koriyama had been unable to find Kamui, Seishirou, or Subaru >.<) They didn't give me directions, but eventually found the addy on a website and then used my map book to find the actual store.

The branch is small, but for some reason seems to carry things that have sold out elsewhere and has copic markers on discount. o_O

If you come to Tokyo when I'm there we can all try and go. ^_^

*glomps*
From: [identity profile] reieien.livejournal.com
*glomps back* Yes, most definitely. I adore Fujicest. There's really on other way to enjoy Fuji. ^.~

I've been told many nice things about you from Marianne, even before you came over. ^^ So I can't wait for us to all get together during Golden Week. ^^ I'll be soo much fun.

X, my other love. ^__^

*waves back* I couldn't ignore the most fujicestuous livejournal I know anymore ^^ If you hadn't figured this out, I'm the scary worshipful girl with the fanlistings. I'll probably be stalking over at the rp, too --;;;;

So you're the person who got those FLs!!!!

Date: 2004-01-23 08:46 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] rkold.livejournal.com
I'm happy you got them even though I'm also deathly jealous ^o^

Yes, people say there is no one in the foreign fandom as Fujicesty as I am ^o^ I do not know if that is true, but I rather suspect it is. I guess since I first started calling it Fujicest, that would also help.....Someday I will get my Fujicest shrine up. Damn, I just love that pairing. ^^

I must join your fanlistings once I have read more Naruto and worked on Yuuta's LJ entry. ^_^

BTW can penal-tea link to them?

I would have to agree with the rest of the populace on that one ^//^

I'm sorry I stole the fanlistings, though. On my honor, I didn't know you wanted them! But if you aren’t totally, utterly inconsolable, then please do link them- I’d be thrilled ^^ You're already up in the Fujicest FLs link list.

Well, at least I got to meet another fan.. ^_^

From: [identity profile] rkold.livejournal.com
I was really really sad that I couldn't get the Fujicest fanlisting, (I had wanted to wait before applying for Yuuta) but cheered myself up at the thought I would hopefully at least get to meet another Fujicest fan out of it. ^_^

If you ever decide you don't want them anymore..... XD

I'm just very very fond of the Fuji kyoudai.

Anyway, I will join and add a link when I'm not being pre-occupied by the RPG and trying to write some more Fujicest ^_^

One minor thing, your FL pages load really slow on my computer. ^^; You might want to optimize the images a little more. ^^;;;; I confess, I knew absolutely nothing about optimization, until [livejournal.com profile] girltypefumma told me about it.

Yeay for RPness! *can't wait to play my #2 BitchBoi*

I really liked Gluehen, even though it pissed me off at times. Well, the ending was so rushed, and I would have liked to have seen a lot more of Schwarz and Crashers. Ah well ;P

I had a few issues with Gluehn...

Like what sort of idiot sends their kid to a school where there are 11 or 12 mysterious suicides and doesn't pull their kids afterwards....
(Unless they're trying to kill off their kid)

The ending was rushed, more Schwarz would have been lovely, despite how funny Brad looked. And more Nagi and Omi would have been pretty amusing also.

But still considering all the ranting I read about it when it was being done and while people were watching it, it was no where near as bad as I was expecting.

I mean it's not like TB live-action which is just painful!

TB live-action

The only thing I can think of here is >Tiger Beat live-action (as in the pop idol magazine). I'm guessing that is not the right TB. ^_^

Nope ^o^

TB==Tokyo Babylon.

Many of the Clamp series have rabid foreign fangirls and in particular, SeishirouxSubaru of Tokyo Babylon fame. I got the movie a while ago cause I was really curious, and have regretted it. ^^;

I'm not sure why they did the live-action. It takes place in 1999 and was made in 1992/1993. It has atrocious special effects, we're talking not that much above Plan 9 From Outer Space level. ^^ The only way to sit through it is to MST3K it. ^o^
