WTF?!?!?!?!? yanchamonkey finally got my suitcase and it was completely destroyed by United. It's covered in chocolate inside and it's not a pretty sight. yanchamonkey said it reeked of smoke and just was not in good shape at all. Many of the things in it are just ruined. I'm hoping at least something is salvageable. I am definitely planning on writing a very nasty letter about this!

Oh you're KIDDING me. There's just no excuse for that. None. Hope you can salvage something out of it and yes, you definitely need to demand compensation. You fly rather a lot with them and deserve much better, particularly if they want to retain your business.

I hope you can salvage some things. I hope United will compensate you in some way. I agree with taking good pictures. Wonder if bag went to a chocolate and smokers home first?
