Oct. 8th, 2007 07:55 amFirst, thank you to everyone who responded to my last few posts. I've not been on line so much and I've been rather depressed and miserable the last few days. My internet connection has been spotty to say the least as well.
It's really hard. I've been crying a lot and doing my best not to have regrets about not always being as kind an owner as I would like to be and for not noticing there was a problem sooner. I really love Nutmeg and it hurts to think she won't be there when I get back.
After much pain, today finally took a turn for the better. As while Spark had a cover drawn by Kashi and Love Potion #9 again (This time Geass and Haruhi), Kashi's newest book was text only. The selection of Geass circles was also lacking because of today's event. Today started off rather miserably with the biggest bright spot being the new shampoo and conditioner I bought from Lush left my hair soft instead of nasty and gummy like the stuff from the Washington. It poured on my while waiting for th event to start and the guide wasn't handed out until rather late. However, the event itself was just lovely. I found some new circles, got 3 sketches and paid 500 yen to take lots and lots of Cosplay pictures. There were so many Geass cosplayers, my favorite being a young 7 or 8 year old in a perfect replica of Lelouch's prince costume at 7/8. There were some ABJD owning doujishika including one who was a BF fan and owned a Jerome as Lelouch and a May as Shirley. She also was selling Ashford uniforms in TF size as well as handmade (plastic probably) Geass eyes.
But to make the day even better at 3:30 I got a phone call that my suitcase was found. Yes, I've been without my suitcase since I arrived on Friday. I'd all but given up hope. But now it looks like it is found. I'm sure some of the things in it have gone bad or died, but it's so wonderful to know I will have it.

Date: 2007-10-08 01:00 pm (UTC)You and Kennis did the best you could for Nutmeg. Please don't ever doubt that.
I'm glad United found your suitcase, and I hope they can reunite you with it very soon. And I hope you had fun at the event, too.

Date: 2007-10-08 03:24 pm (UTC)And you're an awesome cat!mommy and you did everything you could for Nutmeg. Takira was saying that feline kidney disease takes forever to show up on blood work and that it's almost impossible to notice a change early on. You weren't not-noticing it. There was probably nothing major to notice.
And yay suitcase! Finally!
Hugs you and Kennis and Cookie and Basil.
