Date: 2003-12-20 01:27 pm (UTC)Kennis read 'Under the Mountain' too? Cool!! I've been to Rangitoto island (Rangi means "the sky"...not sure what toto is XD) - it's a very neat place. Looks the same from almost every angle cos it's conical. And Onii-chan was living on the side of a volcano for a couple of years when he first moved to Auckland (Auckland = on the Pacific "ring of fire"...I'm glad I live in Hamilton LOL).

I think in "Under the Mountain" they say it means "Bleeding skies" though I don't know how accurate that really is.
I've never lived close to a volcano, the closest I've ever gotten is seeing the ones in Japan. ^o^ (Fuji-san!!!!)
