Public Service Announcement

This is a public service announcement.

For those who don't seem to know, when I post things in my own personal LJ under Flock, I don't really want to hear any dissenting opinions. Generally, something being under flock means it is extremely personal to me. If you don't agree with me, that's all well and good but you can share it in your own LJs, via messenger, or just keep it to your damn self.


This is my LJ and not to put a fine a point on it but here at least I am always right :P

BTW *SO* jealous you are going to Cedar Point. ;;_;; I so want to tag along for that part of Emily's trip just to go on Millennium again. ;;;_;;;

Hopefully that means the majority of people realize that, despite being on the public internet, LJ is still a journal, where people express their personal thoughts and opinions, and most people just don't want to hear that they're wrong on their own journal. If it were an open forum, that's one thing, but not in a closed journal.

I've noticed that sometimes, people think you want advice or discussion when you just want to express your feelings without being judged or criticized.

I don't mind helpful advice, but I since I don't flock the majority of my posts, I don't want someone telling me I am wrong. It's just not up for debate. ^^;

I don't make that many locked posts, in fact I would say they are a definite minority, so having someone do this, particularly someone who I had thought was my friend and who seemed to just skim the post in question really bugs me.
