Yesterday while sumeragiskank was visiting we attempted to experiment with trying to do face-ups (I suck, but Alec's was so bad to start with it sadly looks better o_O) and I decided to finally remove Lelouch's eyes so I could give him the proper color. Unfortunately, I also managed to remove his lashes at the same time. ~.~ I've also managed to ruin the finish on my dinning room table. The varnish has always been a bit temperamental, and has been displeased with me since I removed Jinny's face-up on it.

Anyway for those curious

Lelouch with 16 mm and 14 mm eyes glass eyes by Hitomiya.

The green 16 mm does not sit right and the bulge of the iris refuses to come out of the eye hole properly so it's a bit sunken in. The 14 mm fits perfectly. I wish there wasn't a tiny gap with the 12, since that would be so perfect for my little Lelouch. Now to trim and style his wigs. I've come up with a horrible idea for a photo story.

Item 1: Eep, sorry to hear about the accidentally eyelash-removal and the table varnish issues. :( The green 16 mm eyes look lovely in photos, but I can kidn of see how it leaves the corner of the eye in shadow from being sunken in.

Item 2: Thank you for the lovely postcard! Daniel and I are still trying to figure out where we want to go in Japan (while also fretting over when the Immigration and Naturalization Services will want us in for an interview).

I really like those green eyes, I plan to send out my second Kuuta head to have the eyes slightly enlarged so he can take 16mm and wear them. (Or one of my other pairs of green, I now have 3 shades of green eyes I adore. lol)

The varnish problem is actually a bit funny, I ought to take a picture of the most amusing mess up I've gotten from last summer.

Interesting how the brows are lower. Pale green eyes are pretty. Purple look like great fit.

Yes the purplely red ones are the intended eyes for him. I'm basing him off the following character: Lelouch (http://page7.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/g56389289) and the green are in my second Kuuta (Suzaku) who is the green eyed character in the picture. ^_______^

I'm so glad you like them though. They're both Hitomiya. I'm always in awe at your skill in setting eyes, it's so hard for me!

Yes, I think so too! The greens are right now in my second Kuuta. I ought to take more Yo pictures, btu the weather has not exactly been conducive to picture taking.

He is so cute! Can you tell me big is head in comparison to Kasumi? ^^; I always find all the yo heads are much smaller than Kasumi -o-

I can now tell you that Shin and Piccolo do not look much a like at all.

I find my tiny works best with 14mm eyes. I like the look of smaller pupils/iris, but they just won't fit anything smaller.

I think your face up came out just fine! :D Very soft and sweet with a nice amount of definition. ^_^

I will take a picture of my very bad face-up. I wish I had a before picture. I worked on my Unoa boy Alec. He originally had badly done eyebrows and purple eyeshadow o_O;; Now he still has badly done eyebrows and no purple! lol

BTW remind me, I want to buy a copy of your book!

In pictures, that purple is even more perfect as Lelouch eyes.

That's OK I fell asleep right after you left and figured you had made it home safely as Kitty pinged me that she loved her doll.

Alec looks different with the paint dry too. I would get a picture but it's been so gray here!! *hugs*
