So for those curious, I finally went to the doctor's today.

I'd been somewhat putting it off as I hate going to the doctor and after looking up online it seemed highly doubtful that much could be done for me. I mean maybe more painkillers, but my nose is not crooked, just incredibly achy and scraped up, with some rather disturbing black and blue marks under my left eye. I spent Monday icing, sleeping and watching Season 2 of Arrested Development and Super Gals!.

Yesterday, I felt better, but still made the appointment, since my primary care physician insisted. Because I scraped my right hand something fierce (And no these are all scrapes, stitches will not help, cause nothing is deep, just wide ~.~ )I asked one of my parents to give me a ride to the doctor's. My appointment was at 2:30 and after waiting a good 30 minutes, of which one nurse type person complained at me over not going to the hospital on Saturday, the doctor checked me out, said use more bacitracin and that I was fine and it was fine I didn't see anyone sooner. ~.~ (For those curious, after my car accident in 2001, I've sworn off emergency rooms unless it is a dire emergency.) So if my nose was broken, it is healing properly and it was deemed best not to mess with it. Ah well, it is good to know that everything is OK at least other than you know the scrapes and pain lol On the bright side I look 100% better from Sunday according to my mother and no longer like my new hobby is boxing or like I want to be an ad against spouse abuse. My teeth ache much less and hopefully on Monday I can go back to the gym.

In other news...

Sorry, I didn't contact you [livejournal.com profile] twotone I've not felt up to it, but if you've not ordered yet I would love more lip balm.

24 sucked this week. The first 5 episodes were so good, and this one was so so so so bad. Please just kill Sandra Palmer. Also, WTH with Bill in Seattle 14 months ago?!?!

Where is Code Geass 15 subbed?!?!?!

Shounen Onmyouji 10 needed more Abe no Seimei, either young and hot or old. He is so my favorite character now.

Super Gals! is so GOOD. And wow, what is up with Ran's evil green spicy juice she makes people drink and her secret ping pong move "Magic Ball Go And Come Back Salmon"? Was someone watching too much PoT? But seriously, whether you like het or want to slash, it is tons of fun. Tatsuki and his random Engrish is love, and Yuuya, makes me snicker which is bad because I really should not be laughing right now.

I got my Gentry outfit from Dollheart. It's gorgeous and when Hiroshi finally gets dressed again he will be rather handsome.

I've gone insane with bidding on Y!J for Code Geass doujinshi. Once my Kashi book is in the US I am so getting them shipped, cause I've wanted that Kashi one for so long now.

I love the new Starbucks Cinnamon Dulce Frappucinos!

For those curious, I schlepped out to New York City on Sunday so I could see my sister on her surprise short week end in NY. My family was horrified by how bad I looked, but my mother thinks I look so much better now. We went to Blossom, a wonderful all vegan restaurant, though I could not get what I wanted, since I am not up for eating sandwiches, next time! I also went to Billy's Bakery, which I had wanted to go to for some time. The buttercream tastes too buttery for me, but the cake itself was wonderfully moist. The bundt cake in particular was heavenly. I also got a cupcake with delicious frosting from Eleni's. Though hands down my favorite was the gelato from the Chelsea Market. I so wish I had more, since it felt heavenly on my bruised lips. See above statement for delicious but not quite as good substitution.

No gym for me this week, but I hope to be back in the saddle so to speak on Monday. I just want a few things to have healed/not be quite so painful.

Many many thanks to [livejournal.com profile] bittenbefore, [livejournal.com profile] muscatlove and [livejournal.com profile] yanchamonkey I can't tell you how much what you've done means to me. When you feel super crappy it is super nice to have something nice like this to brighten everything, I truly mean it.

*hugs* Nah, you've just been busy at work.

And late well wishes are still much appreciated since it's going to be a while before I'm back to full tilt. I so have learned my lesson about reading and walking. >.<

BTW so who did you send Annelise off to? I'm always looking for new and different face-up artists as I actually don't want all my dolls to look too similar (it gets boring ^^; )
