I was going to make this a poll, but wasn't quite sure what I would make the options. My plans for my Japan trip have become ever so much more complicated and now I am trying to decide what would be best. ^^; I've pretty much completely given up on attending any sort of Dolpa because Volks are asses and refuse to be helpful in the slightest. I mean, hello it is nearly February, I *HAVE* to get my airfare by the end of the month, and still no announcement. A part of me wants to say it prob *IS* the week end of the 17+18 since I've noticed that is the only week end in March that Sato is closed. ~.~ Well, the 18th is going to Haru, since I *NEED* Geass stuff. I am thinking of seeing if Kate wants to go to Sato on the 21st.

My first problem is that yanchamonkey only has 4 days of vacation time between now and July. I'd had thought that vacation time reset in April with the start of the school year, but JET contracts are July to July. I'm losing on week end because of Haru, but I do really want to see Kate. Though she has off the 21st and 1/2 days. post the 23rd. If you take off on a 1/2 day is that only 1/2 day of vacation? The other problem is April 3rd starts Passover. On one hand this is just lovely, because it will be well over by the time I want to go back to Japan. The negative is I will be jet-lagged and have 1 week to clean and prepare from this trip. Thank goodness I *AM* unemployed.

The other bit of a problem is muscatlove's little sister is coming to Japan part of the time I am there. muscatlove has kindly invited me to go touring with them but that leaves me worried over whether yanchamonkey can go as well (she too was invited of course, but she doesn't have so much vacation, see above) I mean if [Bad username or site: muscatlove can take off, since I will still have a pass I can pop down for an overnight while <lj user=yanchamonkey @ livejournal.com] works during the week, but only if muscatlove has entire vacation time and I know she needs some for GW (when I also hope to come out and would love her to be able to take off a day) She's also volunteered to visit us Friday night and Sat, which would be nice, and would be much easier for her to get to the airport from.. hmmm

So the other thought is, since I am unemployed, changing my dates. Originally I was thinking arriving the 16-27 so about 11 days. My new thought is.. well quite a bit longer. It seems there is a Geass only event with 100 people in Tokyo (I'm not quite sure where as I don't recognize the location . It's small, only about 100 circles, but 100 circles only doing Geass, including Kashi who has promised a new book, a new copyhon, and possibly EXTRAS! But I really need to attend Haru to help support my Japan trip habit because while *I* adore Geass, I'm not sure it sells so well here vs. in Japan and my bread and butter other Clamp series. So if I go on the 4th to said event, I'm suddenly in Japan must longer and of course I have to worry about the dread rail pass. as a 1 week pass is far cheaper than a 2 week. On the bright side other than in Tokyo, I can stay with my generous friends, and umm Kate can have company for her birthday? *ducks head* The one plus is I would be home with more time for Passover.

I'm really in a bit of a loss over what is a better course of action. So anyone's thoughts on this would be most appreciated. So long as they're not I hate your guts because I want to go to Japan

Can't you clean before passover?

Like now? Or is it set that you have to clean only after a certain date?

Does Volks always take so long to set it's dates for upcoming Dolpa?

Second option. Stay longer. Just get the extra rail pass. Take commissions for shopping to pay for it. I want stuff! :D

Since Volks refuses to say when their event is and realistically, I can make more money selling doujinshi from Haru Comic City than I can make from commissions/sales if the two conflict, I can't count on that to help cover things. ^^; But if I do make it to a doll thing, I can try to get you something, and I am definitely going for part of Tokyo Dolpa since while Volks is not forthcoming, Big Sight is.

I'm still not sure what I am going to do, but not going to worry about it until Monday or Tuesday when I work more on tickets.

Scheduling is always tough. D: I'm not sure what the best option is, but you'll come up with something~ I hope you get to see your friends as much as possible, though!
