I'm thinking of selling my One-Off. Yeah, he's lovely, but he just sits in his box under the bed, I don't know when the last time I took him out was. I also prob need to sell my PF Jack since he just sits in his box. It's funny I had really wanted a boy Yoko and almost bid a few times on Y!J but when I finally got one and one I liked better than any of the ones I ever considered bidding on, he just never clicked. Also on the possible chopping block is my boy MSD FCS F06. I feel bad on one hand since then I will just have FCS bodies and not actual FCS faces I ordered, but on the other Volks has not been winning any points with me lately for their unresponsiveness and unhelpfulness. It's all well and nice that they want to pretend to be your best friend when they see you in person, but I find it hard to think highly of them when they can't follow through by being helpful when you're not with them. It's not just lying and saying they would give me a copy of the video tape from that TV show I was on, I kindly asked if they could give me some idea when Kansai Dolpa would be, as I am planning a trip to Japan in March and was told to wait until they announce it on their website. ~.~ Now I understand they don't want to ruin their "surprise" but considering by GOING TO THE BIG SIGHT WEB SITE I CAN FIND OUT WHEN TOKYO DOLPA IS and the fact I am trying to plan internationally is it too much to ask they consider it or at least give a more friendly answer expressing the fact they realize it is difficult planning internationally? Volks loves to not announce things until the month before, and I need to make reservations before then. It all just leaves a bad taste in my mouth and is another thing souring me on dolls.

On the happier doll front, I got to see bittenbefore at an impromptu (for me) doll meet and towtone! I brought my twins Kitsune and Inari (BF Emilies), PF Yuki and Yuzu, and Lux (Yo!Chinatsu) Lux had just come back from getting her face-up re-done and I so love her. She actually looks so girly now and her lips her just the most lovely thing ever.

I know how you feel about the One-Off... Toppi spends a lot of time in her box under my bed too. But every time I open the box she takes my breath away so she gets to stay for now ^_~

I'm sorry you're having problems with Volks :/ I've only dealt with them in person and, as you said, they are always so nice in person.

Lux looks great! Love her new dress :)

Mine is very handsome, but I just find I don't open his box all that often, and someone else might enjoy him more particularly since I spent so much money on him. ^^

I adore Lux. I've gotten her some new shoes to go with her dress. Judy is so talented!

I really adore Yumeka, I think hands down she is one of the prettiest defaults I've seen on a Volks girl or any girl for that matter. I'm really so glad you were able to get her.

And noooo no problem, I just love the dress, I am a huge fan of pin tucks. I want to try to get a picture tomorrow with my new Yo boots, since I think it will make the dress even cuter.

I'm sorry that you're having trouble with Volks. In the past, I've found that they have been willing to tell me up to six month ahead of time when an event will happen. I wonder if anything has change. Maybe they've been bugged too much by Americans with the Huis Ten Bosch event.

Ummm Actually, I'm not so sure I can go to California after all. I rather didn't realize that this year is my father's 60th Birthday and the party is likely to be around then since my sister in San Francisco is coming home for the summer. ^^;;;

I'm really glad you like Lux though. Judy is so incredibly talented, I feel so fortunate she made the dress just for me and the fabric is uber cute.

They were completely unwilling to help. I'm not pleased at all.

Oh, I'm so sorry that you might not be able to make it! Not only was I looking forward to your panel, but also to being able to talk with you some more. We had so little time after we met at Y-con. Please let me know if you get out to SF at another time, so that we can meet up.

Looks like we will be going to the May Dolpa -- and you're right, it's already on the Big Site page. I hope that Volks comes to their senses and helps you out!

Aww Lux is just so cute all over ♥ She has the best custom faceup I've seen for Kuuta/Chinatsu molds.

I know what you mean about not bonding with a one-off right away, or ever. ;P You don't get much time to decide once you're there! I sold my one-off Lucas that I got from the first LA tea last summer. I think it was more me not liking the revised mold as much as the original though.

Thank you so much, I'm so pleased with how she turned out. I love the mold, but Chinatsu's original face-up was just not my cup of tea.

I put in at Sato, and while he is quite lovely, I never expected to win him. I do like him a lot, but most of my dolls represent various characters and he just doesn't really fit into any of the storylines I have. I feel bad that he comes out the least often of all my dolls vs. my yos.

Lux looks a little scary in those first couple of shots - the eyes seem to follow you around - but she's really a cutie. The hair is so pink and shiny!

That large one in the bottom photo, that's Kurumi? I can't tell much about the face but I think the outfit's very pretty.

It's the evil of flash photography lol It washes out the dolls and makes the eyes look freaky. I have a huge favor to ask of you, is there anyway you could request Keroro Gunsou on streamload? And I think Jenn wanted a Jdrama. I misplaced my boards. ~.~ I have 3-55 of Gunsou and I need 1+2 so I can burn them off my hard drive already. >>;

And yes, Kurumi is the large one. My friend Judy who owns her has some much better pictures of her. Her outfit is very ornate and just lovely, though secretly I prefer the simpler dress Judy actually made for my Lux, shhhh!

Ordinarily I would be happy to oblige, but ever since Streamload changed to MediaMax the request boards have implemented a policy whereby you can only request New Arrivals folders - a bit of a nuisance if, like me, you tend to wait for the end of a series and then request the whole thing! The drama board has closed altogether for the time being, though new drama uploads tend to get included in the anime boards' new arrivals folders. I can email you the board addies if you like but it will have to wait till I get home, as I'm at work right now and don't have my bookmarks.

Sorry! I can't wait till all this MediaMax chaos gets sorted out and things get back to normal.
