Grrrrrrrrrrrr

Out of 23 bidders 2 have now "claimed" someone "stole" their account to bid on unauthorized items. This is such a load of crock. It's just a way to avoid negative feedback and an unpaid item strike, plus screw over the seller who now has to completely relist the damn item and can't even offer it to the next highest bidder. And really, someone stole your account and you don't notice for a week and a half? ~.~

So incredibly bogus.

I bet the reality is someone's KID used their account to bid on crap and they then decided they didn't want to pay for it. I'll have to spend some time trying to figure out if I can ban certain accounts from bidding. Grrrrrr I hope the account is frozen for a while since they claim someone "stole" it.

Go through the non-paying bidder process anyway with these cases... only way to get the people booted from eBay and for you to get your final value fees back.

My fees have already been credited.

You can't file a non-paying bidder complaint once an item has been pulled. eBay has completely pulled my auction, there is no record now of me ever having tried to sell the item.

To file non-paying you need to first spend 1 week with a dispute, and then after that week, you can officially get a non-paying bidder declaration and get the fees back.

I am in the midst of doing this with another jerk and was in the process with this one when the account was declared "stolen"

Why was your auction pulled?

Trust me, I know ALL about the NPB process... have done too many for both myself and my last job @.@

My auction was pulled because the buyer filed a complaint that their account was stolen.

Huh, that must be one of the newer idiotic things they are doing. Sometimes I miss the old days of eBay, before so many scammers jumped on board :/

I don't know when it started, but its happened now 2x this round of auctions which is why I am annoyed.

The only good thing is it is MUCH faster than the non-paying bidder declaration, so I can re-list the item now, rather than having to wait through the process. The big negative is I LOSE the IDs and amount of all the other people who bid on the auction, as the auction is pulled.

The "stolen" account is frozen and I only hope it is for a good length of time. ~.~

Yeah, ebay "claims" it's cause they have to pull the whole auction and they're working on new tools so this wll not be the case soon.

fortunately, 1 i will just list on my website since it didn't go high and the other i will just have to relist.

blah.

i wrote ebay a msg on it, cause really, i emailed this person LAST WEEK to ask about payment, and to wait until i filed a dispute makes me highly suspicious.
