For those curious, here is my list from last year. I actually feel rather fortunate as I got quite a few things from it. *___* For anyone wanting to mail me anything, my address can be found in that post. For emails (yuutafan)(at)(gmail)(com)
STEP ONE
Make a post (public, friendslocked, filtered...whatever you're comfortable with) to your LJ. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fandom-related to medium to really big. The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.
If you wish for real life things, make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you. Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your LJ.
STEP TWO
Surf around your friendslist (or friendsfriends, or just random journals) to see who has posted their list. If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it.
You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call.
There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just... wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.
Anyone want to guess what #1 and #2 are XD;;

5. Into the Woods revival cast on CD/mp3s
6. A nice quality copy of "The Mayor of Simpleton" by XTC as my copy vanished o_O
7. The chibi Asuran holding a gun , I have the Kira already and the mini Asuran ^^;
8. A Lux costume for Yo Chinatsu
9. Cute mini chibi Rachel and Kennis plushies
10. A bag of Bit o' Honey candy, it is my favorite and I love it.

Date: 2006-11-15 08:07 pm (UTC)Lux is the romanization I prefer for Lacus one of the main characters in Gundam SEED/Gundam SEED Destiny. She was canonically engaged to Asuran, but is now "more than friends but less than lovers" with Kira.
She has many wonderful costumes because along with being a revolutionary, she is a pop star. (And coincidentally voiced by the same seiyuu who is Chii) Lux is probably one of my all time favorite female characters, and so I decided to make my Chinatsu into a doll version of her. ^^

Yagyuu and Yuuta are in a production of Hamelet together in one of the video games. Yagyuu plays Polonious and Yuuta is Laertes. (Keigo is Hamlet, Ryoma is Ophelia, Tezuka is Horatio, Oishi is Getrude, and Kabaji is the King) Yuuta picks to be Hamlet because he doesn't want to be in Mizuki's group and is the only one in the Hamlet group who knows nothing about Hamlet. Yagyuu could be helping him rehearse (they are father and son) and learn about Hamlet. lol

Date: 2006-11-16 02:24 pm (UTC)But in all honesty, one of the best fics for PoT I ever read was Oishi/Jiroh, which really when it comes down to it has about as much reason to work as Yagyuu x Yuuta and about as much canon to work with XD;;
I know people have written Yagyuu/Oshitari, and some college fic with Mizuki/Ohtori and Shishido/Akutsu. lol
I love Yagyuu and think he is hot and I love Yuuta, so why not *shrugs*
