Packages

The last few days have been happy package days. It started with the 31st when I awoke from a dream wherein I was awoken by the postman with a package, several hours later I was awoken by the postman with an actual package! (A Mio outfit <3 ) Last night I made some Amazon purchases, and the first set of them arrived today, Love Mode 3+4 and Shout Out Loud 2. So much happiness!

In other news, we got a hguge wood delivery and since my husband is cheap, he wanted it just dumped in the front yard. I had thought we had to worry about bratty kids taking wood from the pile, little did I know the truth. So yesterday this station wagon pulls up to my house and this woman in her 50's-60's comes out and rings my bell. Not being overly friendly if I am not expecting visitors I did not open up but watcher her from inside. Well, not more than 5 minutes later she was trying to cart off some of my wood! o_O I went outside and put a stop to that, and then put a sign on the wood to warn people off. Grrrrrrr.

Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] reynardine I went off looking for some of 1776 from the production I saw on Broadway a bunch of years ago. I had really liked the fellow who played John Dickinson, and thought he was better than the original by quite a bit. In so doing I discovered 1776 fan videos o_O

I'm glad to see someone else was slashing Adams/Jefferson lol Though of course I would love to see some Dickinson/Adams slash cause I am a bad person

Adams/Jefferson of the female persuassion slash lol

Just plain amusing to me

I also did a search on "Accidentally in Love" and found these amvs I rather liked (Don't click if you don't like Accidentally in Love" lol

CCS style

10th Kingdom style

Yaoi Ouran style

Het Ouran style

Quest for Camelot style

Lemony Snickett incest style

So amused.

Ohhh congrats! That is probably best, btw when you turn in your passes try to make your reservation because reserved non smoking seats can book up.

Yeah, Kyoto to Osaka on regular trains is not so expensive. lol

I think for outlets, it depends on what you are plugging in. For things like my laptop, I don't need an adapter, same for my camera battery and ipod. I don't use a hair dryer, and US cell phones don't work in Japan, so I rent a Japanese one.

I know that things like TVs/DVD players don't need an adapter

[livejournal.com profile] kosquarepelli says she did not need one for her blow dryer ^^;

Thanks! And yes, I'll be sure to remind my mom to make reservations as soon as she can. Non-smoking seats FTW!

Okay. I'm pretty much just planning on plugging in my GameBoy, iPod (both of which should be fine since they say they're okay for Japanese outlets anyway) and maybe a hairdryer and a straightening iron. I believe we will have one adaptor kit anyway, since my dad happened to have one, so good, I think we'll be set! :D As long as I can dry and straighten my hair, I'm a happy girl. ^_^
