rkoldFor those who don't know, one of my husband's quirks is he loves reading me articles from the newspaper. He always tries to find ones he thinks will amuse me, and generally he is relatively spot on.
A few months ago, there was an article about house blogs in the New York Times. For those who didn't read the article, the blogs are about 30 somethings who invest in a beautiful older home that needs some work only to discover it actually needs A LOT OF WORK and their house is a disaster. If you're old, think the film The Money Pit (for those interested Wikipedia article), the comedy about the disasterous house purchase of Shelly Long and Tom Hanks.
Of course post the article, I then went to check out some of these blogs, and in particular Casa Decrepit since it got a lot of print space in the article.
Well, we just discovered a few days ago that the ostensible owner of Casa Decrepit is an old friend fromthe Cult College who was a groomsman at our wedding. Damn.
