I'm back from outer space, or I should say Jewish Holidays. Today is Shemini Artzert, which officially ends Sukkot and after Simchas Torah, we're done until Channukah, so woot!

Thanks to Something Awful and muscatlove and Youtube, I've discovered that Israelis are amazing at dubbing Disney songs. Other than "Colors of the Wind" where the words are just off, the flow is nice and the voices are amazing. Israeli Belle is so good! And Israeli Genie! Now I want to find the CDs... XD;;

I'm also trying to decide which is the proper color for Hiroshi's eyes, so...POLL!

PoT actually sort of sucks. It jumps the shark and then just keeps going. lol

But actually, Kira is from Gundam Seed/Destiny/Whatever the next one is, and is among the most popular characters in Japan ever. lol

In Destiny, they made him a little more manly, but in Seed the original he is very girly, and it doesn't help he cries a lot.

Ahh Wing and Seed have very little in common other than teen boys, a blond guy in a mask, and giant fighting robots. lol

The pink fuzzy slippers came with that Volks outfit, but they're a pain to get on. I told Kira he could get that outfit or a Little Red Ridinghood one for now. lol I was so pleased that I actually had a few appropriate props the right size. :)

And yes, that is Hiroshi's default wig, since I can't find one in that style in the color I would ideally want. (something closer to 27B/27T) I've thought of ordering in the next K-Starr order, but Heath's have tiny heads, and the Leeke wig is a little big as well. ~.~

Have you tried any Dollfie Dreams wigs on Hiroshi? They are suppose to be smaller.

None of the DD wigs are the style I want, and after messing up one MSD wig, I just can't bring myself to buy a $30 wig onlyto ruin it when trimming it. ~.~

Some of my Volks wigs I just adore, they use lovely silky fibers and the colors are generally just lovely, but they need more short styles and it is a tad irking that they don't warn you that not all wigs fit all heads. Though my Blue Fairy Olive lives in one of the MSD ones.

I remember from 1/6 that boy's styles were always much harder to do than girls, so it makes sense it is a challenge with BJDs as well. I think KStarr is prob my next place I will try, unless I am running so slow I look at Dolpa. lol

I wish I could get his hair in a lighter color, but Hiroshi has such a tiny head. ~.~ I don't want something quite as red as some of the manga art trading cards, but more just a light caramel *sighs* But I do love my Hiroshi. lol

Which eye color are you going to give yours? I think Masaharu is getting his interesting hazel ones I bought from Silver.

Hiroshis are so much fun! <3 except when you have to finish two pictures and at least one ficlet for their birthdays

How tiny is his head? Our boys have such tiny heads they can wear MSD wigs. @_@ When I get around to it, we're getting Hiro a Leeke MSD in that spiffy purple they have. Right now he's got a Monique 8-9, which is a great color, (light brown) but too big. X_X

Currently he's wearing Akaya's eyes. XD They were originally supposed to be his, but ended up being a completely different color than they are on the site. >>; So were just gonna get him the same color as Masa. Eye candies S49. They're a dead on match for Niou's anime color. We're doing kind of an odd mix of anime and manga coloring for them. In the end, we'd like to have both anime and manga hair and eye sets for each of them, but we're just buying what we can actually find for now.

Much to Ko's disappointment, my Hiroshi is not getting the eggplant hair lol Though I am thinking of trying to get something in that color for Asuran, as I can't find navy in Yo sizes. ~.~

Hiroshi is I think a 8.75 or just barely a 9, so he's small, but not small enough for MSD wigs. Niou is a lovely 9.5 or so, so he is much easier to wig. I am thinking of trying K-starr as they have a wig that screams Niou if you trim it a bit, and I don't just want fur, though I love his current fur one as well.

I think I'm going more manga style on both, since Niou's eyes are a hazel color and Hiroshi is getting brown. Though you can't actually see either's eye color well in the manga, but other than Keigo, so far everyone has had brown in the manga.

Yuuta is going anime style, and preferably with his longer hair, while Keigo (though he wants an anime color wig too) is manga and I think Kirihara is going to be anime. Kim is looking at brilliant greens for him. Fuji is also anime, though now I want to know who the new BF dolls are, in case one makes a slightly better Fuji than my current Kyle. ^^;;;

I ought to get more pictures of the crew, but I just found out I am getting company and my house is a complete disaster. ;;_;; Niou's daughters just came home from getting their face-ups, and I want to take some wrong father/daughter pictures lol (though their gum drop eyes are on order)

It's such a pain trying to track down the right things, but so rewarding when it works out. lol

I ought to post slashy YuuYuu pictures somewhere and scare everyone with my crack pairing lol

I noticed you are listing "Under the Mountain" as an interest. Are you referring to the 1980's New Zealand tv show? If so, do you have it on video or DVD?

It's a reference to both the TV show and the novel by Maurice Gee. I'm very fond of both.

And no, I do not own the TV show in any format. I was looking for it a few years ago and only came across the novel. ;;_;;
