rkoldI am in another doll quandry. Ever since I decided I didn't need Sayuri, I've been looking longingly at girl Nikys. Girl Nikys with blossom bodies so they have slightly bigger boobs. *__*
I could sell for my PF Kitsune and Inari and get twin girl Nikys. Since I now have a TF size Yuki and Yuzu, it would work, and though they'd be the same size as "Uncle" Syuusuke and Uncle Yuuta, they would be the perfect size with "Uncle" Masaharu, Uncle Hiroshi and Mama.
Unlike Yuki and Yuzu, who I have 2 sizes of, I would not have 2 of Kitsune and Inari. It's either or.

First, I'd like to state I have not read the book, but even *I* could tell that the ending was changed. There is NO WAY it is that happy in real life lol Bosses rarely, if ever decide that your sense of morality is a valuable asset. I just can't see a real life Miranda deciding not to blackball Andrea for quitting. I suspect that in fact was what happened, which is one reason she wrote a book. lol
On the other hand, there was much I enjoyed about the movie such as:
Nigel, OMG I wanted to snuggle him and feed him no carb lo-cal cookies. lol
Because of the narrative changes, Miranda is more than just a devil for being evil, she's the devil for the temptation she offers Andrea, to sell out her values and her life, in order to achieve success and power. It worked.
There was more Starbucks product placement than in RWT.
Miranda's rant on the importance of fashion. While I myself are far from a true believer, I could definitely see how colors the big designers like, filter down into things boring people like me wear.
Andrea's defense of Miranda. Yeah, Miranda is a devil and evil, but she wouldn't be as demonized if she was a male. I can't imagine Trump is a fun person to be the personal assistant too.

And I do think Fuji S would make a fabulous fashion designer. So what if the high fashion in this is made up. I've seen enough in the New York Times and from being forced to watch Style as a teen to have any doubts.
I also saw the last 5 minutes of Superman while waiting for it to end so we could all go home. My thoughts.. someone needed to invest in a good editor. lol
