So, I need to order more slipcovers while the sale is still on so I get 20% off. I am torn. I want the light blue cover, but 1) it will get very dirty 2) it doesn't match my living room and 3) it will get very dirty. But light blue is my favorite color, so it keeps calling my name. More than likely practicality will trimuph and I will get the Raspberry or the Kiwi which go perfectly with my curtains.

This week end had no phone service, which had the plus of, well no ringing phones all week end and the minus of no DSL. I also discovered thanks to [livejournal.com profile] chokingcufflink that I do like Thai food. We went to a place in Brooklyn this week end and it was so good, despite the rude people at the table next to us. I also got Italian Ices from the Lemon Ice King. <3333 The Lemon Ice King is the Baskin Robbins of Italian ices with more flavors than anywhere else I have ever seen. I'm partial to the pistachio, mint chip, vanilla chip, and some of the fruit flavors. Also went to my cousin's engagement party this week end, which surprised me by having excellent food! The sushi and the wraps were delicious as was the cake <3 It was a week end of decadent eating.

I also went to a green market in NYC, where I bought Fuji apple juice. <3333

Work is going.. well it's going. lol

I've been thinking a lot about Katrina, and if I weren't only partially awake I would write about how upset I am by what took place, how incompetent our government is, and how I hate it being compared to 9-11 since other than lots of people dying and Bush not understanding the scope of what was happening they're really not very similar at all. Katrina is the 21st century Titanic, and damn it Mr. Rich, I thought of that first!
