Captain Skippy

rkoldThis week end we joined my aunt, uncles and my uncle's fiancee for dinner at my parents house. Other than managing to bicycle all the way there in about 40 minutes, the other highlight of the night was this little story from my aunt.
My aunt and uncle use to pay money to have an unlisted phone number, but decided to make life cheaper by changing their listing to "Captain Skippy", the name of one of their cats. The other night my aunt picked up the phone to have someone from the military on the other line. It seems Uncle Sam wanted to know if Captain Skippy was interested in returning to the service lol.
I got my first official paycheck as a newly employed last week. Fun. I am also completely determined to get myself a Pocket Fairy. lol I guess it's good to have a goal.
Other than that, things are quiet here. I have another piece of fan-art to share once I up it, I started trying to learn to use my tablet so I can at the very least have an easier time editing pictures. I edited pictures of some doll things I wanted to sell and added some more outfits to the "To Be Sold" pile. And now I just need to make the time to edit some more pictures for my site and I can make the announcement and start giving links. If I ever get really together I will need to take pictures of my non-Takara dolls. I need to figure out how to re-string Kamui. Everytime I take him out, it always bothers me that he is so tight lol I still can't decide if I want to switch his eyes or Yuzuriha's. Bah, it's one reason I think I will be happy with Pocket Fairies. I know I like the default coloring and then it is just an issue of finding wigs.
I've decied to look into getting tickets for Wicked, Spamalot and Avenue Q. I think I'm worth it.
